Jubilant protesters filled the streets, many cheered, other cried when the official announcement was made. After 18 days of protests and over 300 killed, an historical event has taken place and the voice of the people has been heard. U.S. President Barack H. Obama is scheduled to speak later today regarding the most recent developments. Mr. Mubarak is said to be in Sharm el-Sheikh.
