Matthew 8:14 “And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.”
If Jesus died on Friday, he could not have risen before Monday, if he were not to rise for three days, Friday to Sunday is not 72 hours, but 48 hours. In any case, Easter Sunday— so we are told—is the celebration of an event that took place about 2,000 years ago.
We have been told that this event was the rise of Jesus from the grave. In fact, we have been told that he was the first begotten of the dead. Of course, this does not account for the fact that Jesus is said to have raised Lazarus from death before he himself was put on the cross. And Enoch and Elijah of the Old Testament went to heaven without dying, so we are told.
Did a man named Jesus actually come from a state of total death? Was he seen by some and then actually went upward into the sky to where (as we have been told) God and others are?
What is the real basis of the Pope’s conviction that this event really took place? What is the solid evidence on which his faith is based?
In 1981, Minister Farrakhan announced that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad did not die in 1975. He proclaimed, among other things, that he was, in fact, alive, even as he spoke those words. He repeated this, and more, in 1983. Both of those speeches are available for your study. Even though I am not detailing Minister Farrakhan’s position any more than I have in these short articles, I do hope what is expressed is very clear. I am attempting to stimulate deep thought.
Question: Is the grounds or the evidence supporting Minister Farrakhan’s position respecting The Honorable Elijah Muhammad as the Christ of The New Testament less powerful than that of the Pope? Deeper: Which of the two is right? If this Black man is right and this White man is wrong—what then?
Since the gospels were not written when Paul preached, what scriptures did he use? There was no New Testament at that time. He used, roughly what we now call The Old Testament. Does The Old Testament really support the Pope’s position?
Acts 17:3 is exactly what Minister Farrakhan is preaching. Verse 4 refers to the great number of our people who were not among the followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad before 1975. This is being fulfilled, even as you read these words.
Verse 5 tells that some of us, who followed the Honorable Elijah Muhammad before 1975, accept Minister Farrakhan properly—as the man divinely chosen to do as he is doing. Others do not.
Instead, they are moved by envy. Still others are moved by another factor: They love this world’s life. We are living in quite a time.
Here are the words of this passage. Acts 17:3-5: “Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.
“But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.”
Now, that the Supreme Being came to America met and taught the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, which he made public by speaking and writing the truth of what he was taught.
I’m quoting just a few words from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad of which this involves the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. This is taken from one of his books we can read this: “How came the Black God, Mr. Muhammad? He is Self-created.
How could Self create Self? Take your magnifying glass and start looking at these little atoms out here in front of you. You see that they are egg-shaped and they are oblong. You crack them open and you will find everything in them that you find out here. Then were there some of them (atoms) out here?
“Well who created them? I want you to accept the Black God. You say, “There is no beginning or ending.” I admit that. But we do know that they had to have some kind of beginning. But how it happened, we don’t know. That’s why we say that His Beginning we don’t know anything about.
“Imagine, you close your eyes, now imagine the whole entire visibility of the Universe is gone from you. This is the way He was born; in total darkness. There was no light anywhere. Out of the total orbit of the Universe of darkness there sparkled an atom of life Once upon a time, but don’t ask me when it was. How could that atom of life make a record of its own creation?
“It could not write its own creation, the record of it, because He was the First; there was no recorders around Him. He was First to record His Ownself. How long was that? We can’t tell; we weren’t there. He was the only One in the whole entire dark Universe. He had to wait until the atom of life produced brains to think what He needed. How long was that? I don’t know, Brothers. But He was a Black man, a Black man! Coming out of total darkness at that time, we all could say that we are produced by a white God.
“But there was no light nor even any white anywhere: there was All Darkness. So God revealed to me. In that darkness, which had no end to it there that Darkness Created an atom of Life, and the Color had to be Black as there was no light; therefore, it had to be the Color of the thing that Created it! All Praise is due to Allah.”
All of the above relates to a secret of the greatest magnitude—the Messianic secret.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad gave Minister Farrakhan his assignment the first time he saw him in 1955. I’m aware that people may not agree with this statement, but I know it to be a fact. It requires some time to explain fully, but I started some years ago.
