On the road to recovery

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, recovering from the effects of treatment for prostate cancer, welcomes friend and helper Sheikh Tijani Ben Omar at the home of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in Chicago recently. The Minister also hosted his regional and national laborers for a meeting where he reviewed the agenda that would take the Nation of Islam into the 21st Century and the agenda for the upcoming October 16, 2000 Million Family March to be held in Washington, D.C.

OAKLAND�A controversial program that pays crack addicted woman $200 to get sterilized or go on long term birth control was angrily run out of a West Oakland neighborhood Oct. 24.

Gadhafi's call for reparations and a historic meeting of African leaders in Libya

Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi called for the west to pay reparations for slavery and the damage done to Africa during the 4th extraordinary meeting of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and the 30th anniversary of the Libyan revolution recently held in Libya. Col. Gadhafi also called for a return of all African artifacts robbed by Europeans and others during the same meeting, one of the greatest gatherings of African Heads of State in the 20th century.
