The 50-something year-old native New Yorker was able to get into business with help from an Empowerment Zone loan guarantee. "With all that I have accomplished my greatest fear is that my son who has a good job will not be able to purchase a brownstone here in the community where he has grown up," Ms. Evans admits.more
