asks: Can America overcome her own anti-Semitism as first Jewish candidate
runs for Vice-President of the U.S.?

ready to have a Jewish vice-president, who is a heart beat away from being
the President of the United States of America, was the question raised
today by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan during an hour-long,

America answers that question well, then America has indeed matured,"

NGOs tell UN: Lift embargo
on Iraq
UNITED NATIONS (IPS)A
coalition of six national and international non-governmental organizations
(NGOs) has renewed a call to end a devastating 10-year-old economic
embargo which has caused death and destruction in Iraq. The Security
Council must recognize that the sanctions have contributed in a major way
to persistent life-threatening conditions, and that short-term emergency
assistance is no longer appropriate to the scale of this crisis,
says a letter sent to the 15 members of the Council.

A
Proper View of Woman in Building The Family
by Minister Louis
Farrakhan
The origin of this present
article stems from a brief encounter that I had with a wonderful
Baptist Preacher who had allowed me the honor and the privilege of
speaking to the people from his pulpit. I was speaking on the need for
the reform of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in their view and
treatment of the female. I mentioned that Paul said that the woman
should be quiet in the church. This has been taken to mean that in
church life she should have nothing to say.
