just days away, plans for march-related activities, an
endorsement from religious leaders, support from the hip hop community,
more help from Black congressmen and the final preparations were underway.
The
Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) furthered its commitment to the march by
offering the help and assistance of personal press secretaries.

tanks, gunships clash with Palestinians
RAMALLAH (Agencies)--Israeli
tank crews fired machineguns in a clash that erupted on Friday
during a Palestinian "march of rage" in Ramallah, the
West Bank town that Israeli helicopter gunships rocketed a day
earlier.

again calls for meeting with Min. Farrakhan
WASHINGTON�Those political nay-sayers
who predicted that this year�s presidential campaign would
produce a public put-down of the Honorable Louis Farrakhan,
similar to the rebuke of singer Sister Souljah in 1992, got a rude
awakening when Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Joseph
Lieberman (D-Ct.) called once again for a face-to-face meeting
with the leader of the Nation of Islam. |

mayor calls FBI probe 'a witch hunt'
Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell has denounced a
federal probe into allegations of fraud and corruption, calling it
racially motivated and referred to federal officials as �the forces of
evil� and making �a deal with the devil.� The
investigation originally began last June, resulting in bribery convictions
against a former county commissioner, a former commission staff member,
and a city contractor.

America�s downfall cannot come from
without, but unfortunately, unless change takes place, America�s
fall can come from within. The Great Roman Empire did not collapse
from without, it collapsed from within. What we see inside America is
a moral degeneracy, a fall into a license to do whatever one wills to
do in disrespect of self and others, in the name of freedom of speech
and the freedom to be and do as we please. This is causing the fall of
the nation from within.
