Gaining
the indispensable quality of love

Column
This
and the next article are being written on the eve of the third Sunday
in a row (March 11th) that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is
sacrificing himself, to address his followers, and really America and
the world. This all out effort of his may be among his very last
efforts to save us and others before the fullness of Allahs wrath
drops down on this evil world as an all engulfing fire of the hottest
kind.
Afterwards, I intend to go back to twelve years
ago, to conclude what I want to state about Moses and the Wise Man.
Then, be it the will of Allah, well go back to that same writing to
look at the material titled: A Valuable Black Man.
Leaving all other factors aside, is it really true,
that knowledge is an absolutely indispensable quality of our power to
love? If the answer is "Yes," can we love Minister
Farrakhan, (or anyone else, including ourselves), beyond the extent,
depth and the quality of our knowledge? No! Then,
broadly speaking, whatever else must be required, knowledge is
essential for love. And, as we all know, or ought to know, love is
essential for unity to do for self, without which we are lost.
What then, is the best knowledge that
generates the most love for Minister Farrakhan, for each other and for
us? What makes that knowledge the best knowledge?
In different ways, many wise people have expressed
the following. We see with our physical eyes objects that are
physical. We see, with our physical eyes, if they are healthy, by
means of the light of the physical sun. Even when its night, and
even though it is indirect, we yet see, physically, by means of the
light of the physical sun.
Does our physical sight, alone, give us the proper
knowledge of what we are physically seeing? No. We cannot discern,
perceive, or have insight into, any person, or anything, which we are
seeing with our physical eyes, unless we have knowledge of that person
or thing. Without knowledge we cannot determine the relevance, the
context, the significance or meaning of any person or thing.
So, what kind of knowledge is required to enable us
to see accurately with our mental or spiritual eyes? What really is
the source of that knowledge?
I had a discussion with Dr. C. Eric Lincoln, back
in 1969, over a profound difference concerning a principle in a
profound subject. The discussion of our difference was handled,
however, with mutual respect. Later, I took it up, in a respectful
manner, in the seventh chapter of This Is The One. It was about
knowledge, validity and certainty.
In the course of that discussion, I learned a
"big" word from him. He called it "epistemology."
I had never heard that word. However, I was writing about the subject
that this word defines, to some extent, without ever hearing of the
word.
Common dictionaries define "epistemology"
as "the study or a theory of the nature and grounds of knowledge
especially with reference to its limits and validity."
This takes us to that particular knowledge, which
casts the most accurate light on Minister Farrakhan, his mission, his
teacher, ourselves and for that matter, everybody elseeven the
whole of the universe.
In the fourth of our written Lessons we are asked
to study the answer the Honorable Elijah Muhammad gave to the
following question nearly seventy years ago when he was a baby in the
wisdom of God.
"Who made the Bible and Holy Quran?"
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad began his answer with "The Holy Quran
or Bible is made by the original people, who is Allah, the Supreme
Being, or Black man of Asia."
Certainly, if you drop his full answer on a person,
or an audience, without first bringing him/her, or the audience, in
carefully measured steps, up to this question and then answer it
through intelligently worked out stages, the probability is high that
they wont understand what you are talking about, or they will
become offended, which may turn into anger, or an outright rejection
of what you are presenting to them.
In the course of the last seven decades all of
those steps have been presented, or taken, in the most intelligent and
the most acceptable manner, by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and
Farrakhan.
Now from the wisdom of the Honorable Elijah
Muhammad we understand that the exalted assembly, mentioned in the
Holy Quran, is in reality the twenty-four elders, or scientists,
mentioned in the 4th and 5th chapter of Revelationthe 66th book of
the Bible most Black people in America read.
Again, we now know exactly what is intended (or
meant) by the words "We" or "Us" in the Bible and
the Holy Quran, when referring to Allah or the Supreme Being.
We know from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and by
other means, that he was visited and taught by Master Fard Muhammad,
Who is from this special group of Scientists, Whose identities have
been kept secret. These Scientists pass their wisdom and power on from
son to son. They have been doing this for trillions of years.
Although this has been going on for many trillions
of years, in the very nature of Allah and His creation that One, from
among this super extraordinary group, would reveal the secret of their
identities. That is the only way this could be done. Of course, in so
doing, He would reveal Himself, as well as everyone and everything
else too.
The prophets called the time of this revelation,
the Day of Judgment and the time of the Resurrection of the Dead, and
the establishment of the Kingdom of God, or of Heaven on earth.
This, and all that it implies, began to happen on
the coming of Allah, in the person of Master Fard Muhammad. He
initiated the process of this revelation, in such a manner, that when
the Honorable Elijah Muhammad first laid his eyes on Him, he
immediately perceived His identity. He revealed, or disclosed, His
full or real identity only to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
The educational process Master Fard Muhammad took
the Honorable Elijah Muhammad through, involved His interpretation of
the Bible and the Holy Quran. Over and over again and again, for
all of the years the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us, and defended
his positions and himself, as well as ourselves, he did it exclusively
from what his Teacher taught him, chief of which, I repeat, included
the meanings of the scriptures.
As it will be brought out more in the next article,
or so, these meanings included the need, the very reason for Minister
Farrakhan, in this stupendous plan, which was set in motion by the
Lord of the Worlds.
Now Minister Farrakhan has been serving Allah, his
teacher, us, America and even the world, exactly as it was written of
him in the scriptures. This even includes the way he teaches.
Even though Minister Farrakhan does not always
quote chapter and verse in every sentence he utters, from the speakers
stand, or when, for example, in general conversation at his dinner
table, he is coming out of his teachers words, which includes the
meaning of the scriptures. If you at least know what the teachings are
and what is in the scriptures, you can easily see this.
He is fulfilling his assignment. He was made by
Allah to serve his teacher, our peopleeven America and the worldin
a very significant way.
When you came into the presence of the Honorable
Elijah Muhammad, he would weigh your words and actions, in the light
of his penetrating grasp of the scriptures, to see where you fit. We
must return to this, as everyone seeks to know where he or she fits,
and how he or she can learn what he or she was born to do.
Minister Farrakhan was so examined and recognized
by his teacher, who immediately began preparing him for his future.
Now, if we saw Minister Farrakhan, more like his
teacher saw/sees him, we would love and relate more intelligently to
him. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad saw/sees him from the knowledge
taught to him by his Teacher, Master Fard Muhammad and loved/loves
him. Master Fard Muhammad taught him how to understand the scripturesthe
divine plan written in advancewhich includes the life and work of
Minister Farrakhan.
With these observations we can now look further at
the best knowledge.
Its a fact that throughout the Bible we are
taught, through Gods prophets, that there was a knowledge, or
wisdom, which was the greatest wisdom conceivable, that God kept from
everyone. It further teaches that He would not reveal it, until a
certain time.
The world has been deceived that this wisdom was
revealed 2,000 years ago.
Not so!
The significance of the incident of those Black
fathers, who were teaching their little sons to say, "I love
Minister Farrakhan," and the answers to the other questions, with
which my last article closed, are a major part of Allahs
planning for infinity.
More next issue, Allah willing. |
