"Allahs
commandment will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to
Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with
Him)!"
Holy Quran, Surah 16, Verse 1
As we approach the great day of the Million Family
March, we are in the process of uniting our many families as one.
Coming from many religious paths and nationalities, we are becoming
acutely aware of the sacredness of the moment as we dedicate ourselves
to the path of redemption coming before Almighty God Allah. Within the
sacredness of this event, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has
stated that he will conduct a sacred wedding ceremony for 10,000 new
couples and remarry those who wish to do so. In concert with this
theme on the sacredness of the marriage covenant I wish to pose the
following questions.
Why are many religious leaders around the globe
conducting these sacred wedding ceremonies under the name or sign of
the Messiah?
Is this part of a Divine Plan from Almighty God to
bring the communities of Muslims, Christians and Jews into one body of
Christ?
"What, Know ye not that your body is the
temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom ye have of God, and ye
are not your own? For ye are bought with a price; therefore, glorify
God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods." Holy
Bible I Corinthians, Chapter 6, Verses 19 and 20
As we have now entered the New Millennium which has
brought us into the period of world history in which everyone is
looking for the Return of the Messiah as it is written in the
scripture that His return would be celebrated around the gathering of
Gods people in a great Marriage Ceremony. In the Garden of Eden
(Book of Genesis), the narrative moves to a genealogy that focuses on
Abraham and his seed, Ishmael and Isaac. While Ishmael and his seed
are relegated to a back seat in the Bible it is the seed of Isaac
which takes priority. Isaac becomes the father of Jacob and Esau.
When we look at the name Isaac, we see the Arabic
name for Jesus which is Isa. When we look at the name Esau we have the
sound value and Arabic spelling of Isa which again means Jesus. The
return of Jesus or the Messiah is hidden in the genealogies of both
sons. The theme of the Book of Isaiah, is the Messiah and in the name
Isaiah we once again have the Arabic name Isa which stands for Jesus.
According to the Book of Isaiah Chapter 26, Verse 21, we read "For,
behold the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of
the earth for their iniquities; the earth also shall disclose her
blood, and shall no more cover her slain."
It appears from the foregoing study of scripture
that the Messiah Figure would fulfill the genealogies of both peoples
who are the seed of Abraham. Both would be blessed in His name, so if
this is the case, there need not be a dispute or argument among the
Christians, Muslims or Jews. The Hebrews have an anointed one. The
Jews are waiting for the anointed one. The Christians are in
expectation of the Second Coming of Jesus. The Muslims too are looking
for Jesus return, who would be accompanied by the Mahdi. All three
people have prophecies and Divine Scriptures pointing to this great
one coming at the end of the world who would appear under the name
Messiah.
In the name Messiah also appears the name Isaiah,
so that Jesus (Esau) and the Messiah become as one. In our search for
the Messiah, he must fulfill the prophecies of both scriptures, Bible
and Holy Quran. He will speak the language of both books (Holy Quran
and Bible) which will satisfy the yearning of both peoples to be
reunited to God.
I have featured in my photo display the anointed
one chosen to represent the Hebrew Israelite community. Two other
photos show prayerful women, one from America and one from Losoto,
South Africa, invoking the name of God for world peace. All three
religious communities are involved in the peace process that is taking
place in Israel with their focus on the Holy City of Jerusalem. During
the Sacred Ceremony that will be performed, God Willing, on the Mall
in Washington, D.C., there will be representative words shared from
all of the worlds great religious communities which includes
representative voices from the Far East blending with those of the
Judeo-Christian and Islamic theologians on the theme of Divine Unity.
The theme of this Sacred Marriage Ceremony will be
centered around Gods Sacred Covenant which will witness the return
of His lost and forsaken people. In the 19th Chapter of Revelation,
Verses 7-10, we read about the marriage of the Lamb in these words: "Let
us be glad and rejoice and give owner to him; for the marriage of the
Lamb is come and his wife have made herself ready. And to her was
granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he said unto me,
Right, blessed are they who are called unto the marriage supper of the
Lamb and he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I
fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it
not! I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the
testimony of Jesus. Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the
spirit of prophecy."
It is in this context of a Marriage Ceremony that
Gods Coming is announced to His people with the message of
unification. Once that union is achieved then the Sacredness of the
Marriage Ceremony is consummated with God being proclaimed at the
center and the Mighty One to Whom all praise is due. All those
spiritual leaders who have been anointed under the name Messiah are in
reality the Servants of the Most High God. The Messiahs Return will
be witnessed and heralded foremost in America where Gods power will
be Made Known. The hiding of Gods power is in the use of language
until it becomes flesh. So the duty of the True Parents and of
individuals is to harmonize their lives in accord with our Spiritual
calling which is to Exalt God in our daily lives.
Immediately following the Marriage Ceremony and
testimony as revealed in the 19thtChapter of Revelation the heaven
opens and God in the Person of the Messiah appears.
"And Allahs is the
unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of the hour is but
a twinkling of the eye or it is nigher still. Surely Allah is
possessor of power over all things." Holy Quran, Surah
16, Verse 77. |
