As
in the interview, published some months ago in The Final Call, the
Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan continues to explain how we may get
through this dark period into the light of the better daythe
Hereafter. The scriptures verify his efforts.
The scriptures are very valuable. Use a concordance, take a little time and
look up such words, as dark and darkness. This yields great benefitsbut
only in the light of the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, to which
the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan bears illuminating witness.
Our ignorance of the scriptures has been (and its) being challenged since the
arrival of Master Fard Muhammad and His resurrection of the Honorable Elijah
Muhammad, with the true meaning of the scriptures, which tally with
the events of our day.
If we try to understand why, the Honorable Elijah Muhammads Teacher
made the understanding of the scriptures an essential part of his/our new
(and supremely better) education, we would have a healthier attitude towards
the scriptures than many do. We would also be thankful for the exquisite
wisdom of the use of the scriptures by Minister Farrakhan (and his teacher)
to advance us. False pride, jealousy and envy are among the hindrances to
such gratitude.
Understanding reduces stressful surprises.
Now, we just cant intelligently deny Isaiahs words, for instance, that
refer primarily to Black people here in America, with the rise and work of
the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, in 1931, and with the rise and work of
Minister Farrakhan, from 1977 onwards.
The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light; those who live in
the land of intense darkness and the shadow of deathupon them has the light
shined.

on that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the
blind shall see out of gloom and darkness. The humble would rejoice in the
Lord and the needy or the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of
Israel. For the ruthless, the terrible one, shall vanish; the mockers and the
scorners will be cut off. Those who lay traps with meaningless arguments,
against those who uphold the right, will come to an end. (9:2; 29:18-21)
Were warned in 1st Thessalonians 5:20, (and throughout the Quran, as Mother
Tynnetta Muhammad continually preaches), do not treat prophecies with
contempt. But many still do. So in the words of Minister Farrakhan, gaps
continued to develop and broaden. So its written, That day shall not come
except there be a falling away first and the man of sin be revealed.
Falling away is a gap. Its written that they will not any longer endure
sound doctrine a gap. Who are these teachers that you are now heaping to
your ears that tickle your ears? See, to tickle your ear, means they say the
thing that is congruent to the judgment that youve made of the wise, thus
increasing the gap, which confirms you in your madness.
So to get through the dark hour now one has to look deep into ones self.
Now the wise man is gone but he has shown us a comprehensive knowledge of
why he did what he did. That which he shows you, what did it produce in the
follower? Did it produce love? Did it produce faith? If it did then you will
go back and remember all the things that he taught that you had doubt in and
you will make it through the dark hour until his return.
But if his comprehensive knowledge makes you say, Aw this is more
falsehoods. Hes trying to justify the garbage that he did.
Then you will stick to your judgment of him and in the dark hour you will be
the loser.
The fuller part of what Minister Farrakhan quoted of 2nd Timothy 4:3 reads:
For the time will come when they will not any longer endure [tolerate] sound
doctrine This is that time. This passage goes on, in part:
and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to
misguided ideas.
whoever acts hostilely to the Messenger after guidance has become
manifest to him and follows other than the way of the believers, We turn him
to that to which he (himself) turns and make him enter hell .(Holy Quran
4:115)
The good ones are advised (in several translations), in verse five, to try to
be: calm, cool, steady, sober, keep your head in all situations, keep
control, be careful and sane as they endure afflictions, sufferings, face
hardships, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, stand steady. How
long? Until HE comes, Whose right it is to rule. (There are levels here).
Meanwhile, lets take example after Minister Farrakhan.
Brother Jabril: In the gospel (good news) of Luke, 18:8, we read: When the
son of man returns shall he find faith on the earth?
In the 12th verse of surah 57, of the Holy Quran we read: On that day you
will see the faithful men and the faithful women, their light gleaming before
them Good news for you this day! That is the grand achievement.
Verse 13 (of surah 57) is directly related to the parable of Jesus of the
ten virgins, in the 25th chapter of the gospel of Matthew. In these verses
the Holy Quran emphasizes faith. Why the emphasis on faith?
Minister Farrakhan: It would appear that the wicked have triumphed over God
and the righteous, in this lull before the storm. So, like the five foolish
virgins who used up all of their oil, they were unprepared when the
bridegroom came. He would come when it was dark, and they had no oil left.
If he came in the day they wouldnt need oil. But he comes at the darkest
hour, which is just before the dawn of a new day. They cant go out to meet
him because theres insufficient oil, or light in them, to light their way to
him. But there would be some wise virgins who had some oil left.
There will always be a faithful few that will come out to meet him.
Brother Jabril: Your words remind me of what Elijah was told, in the book of
1st Kings. He thought he was by himself. But God made him to know that there
were 7,000 that had not bowed their knees to Baal.
What is the primary quality that must be developed in those of us who would
correspond to this 7,000, who will not bow their knees to Baal and who will
qualify to be the five wise virgins?
Minister Farrakhan: The greatest of the qualities is humility. Because
humbleness would allow us to be clearer in sight of what the Master has
taught. You can tell the righteous, they walked the earth full of knowledge?
No! They walked the earth full of money? No! They walked the earth heavy with
power? No! They walked the earth in humility and in humbleness. If were
humble, messages can come to us from sources whence we think not to keep us
going through the dark hour until the dawn of the light of a brand new day.
More next issue,
Allah willing.
