"And We made the night and the day two signs,
then We have made the sign of the night to pass away and We have made
the sign of the day manifest, so that you may seek grace from your
Lord, and that you may know the numbering of years and the reckoning.
And We have explained everything with distinctness."

The last edition of The Final Call Newspaper ended with the date
September 17th. I am reminded that on that date the Honorable Minister
Louis Farrakhan experienced his ascension and night journey to meet
with the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1985. It is very significant
that the observance of Yom Kippur, The Jewish Holy Day of Atonement
corresponds this year almost to the same date, having begun at sunset
on the 15th of September and ending on the 16th. These dates also
corresponded to the Declaration of Independence of Mexico on the 15th,
and ended on the 16th day as Mexico�s Independence Day.
On September 7th in the evening at sunset, those of us who were
gathered in Atlanta, Georgia, for a special celebration of a Night of
Elegance and a Night of Culture experienced an extraordinary boost of
energy and consciousness in our Spiritual Ascent to experience the
Presence of God. If we do not exercise our minds to expand into
greater and greater spiritual consciousness, our journey in search of
knowledge will be aborted. As we look at the words "search" and
"knowledge," we see inside the word "search," syllable by syllable
matching their sound values the words "see" and "sea" which represents
the organ of sight and the quality of insight as well as a great body
of water. In the same word, we can distinguish the word "ear" which
represents the organ of hearing; and we can see inside the same word,
"arch" which describes a circle of vibratory activity, which brings
all things into consciousness.
In the word "knowledge," we recognize the word "know" and "now" and
"owl" and "ledge" and "edge," which altogether means to know in the
present moment which is now, and to be as wise as an owl, who sees in
the dark continuously. And characteristically extracts information on
the cutting edge of new knowledge and discoveries of all things made
manifest in his world. We should be like that.
So the Night of Power or the Night of Majesty began for those that
were gathered on the occasion of the Night of Elegance and Culture
that was hosted by the Vanguard of the M.G.T. and splendidly co-hosted
by the M.G.T. Sisterhood and local officials of Atlanta, Georgia. That
Night has brought us to the cutting edge of Tomorrow and a peek into
the Hereafter where the unknown wanted to be known and sought its
expression from darkness into the light of our potential to be the
gods that we once were. Giving Praise to the Almighty God, whose
Proper Name is Allah, means to see the value in each other as the
fruit of the Womb of Divinity.
Those who came from other parts of the country were swept up by the
Angelic Hosts and the Spirit of Almighty God who carried us by night
from the Sacred Mosque to the Remote Mosque whose precincts were
blessed that we might see some of the signs of our Lord, for He is
truly the Hearing, the Seeing. Until we can connect the worlds of
God�s Creation into the inner worlds of our own thoughts, we are yet
blinded to God�s Reality, and will always remain in the dark.
"If you do good, you do good for your own
souls. And if you do evil, it is for them. So when the second warning
came, (We raised another people) that they might bring you to grief
and that they might enter the Mosque as they entered it the first
time, and that they might destroy, whatever they conquered, with utter
destruction." �Holy Qur�an Surah 17, verse 7
