United States of Africa

Afrikan countries and Afrikan people have been divided for far to long, the very idea of the "United States of Afrika" would serve as a beacon in the minds of African people that unity is not only necessary, but now possible.

THE UNITED STATES OF AFRICA? - YES!
9/16/1999

The unification of African nations, on the continent of Africa but particularly those in the Diaspora, will give those of us claiming African heritage an opportunity to re-root ourselves. The US of Africa will predicate many new institutions that are sorely needed for the world. These institutions will help our and other people to overcome myths and real treacheries that have continued to scare and strike fear into the hearts of so many. Fears never confronted because of our lack of alternatives once we go against the existing institutions.

Our new institutions will be political, economic, and spiritually based. Our new institutions will welcome God as the governor of our matters. With God as our governor we will eliminate the fear of weaponry and intimidation because their is nothing contrived by any man that can overcome God.

Collectively we can pull the wool from over our collective eyes and see that those who have for centuries manipulated our lives are no more than little minded, mean men and women who have fooled us. They are virtually no more than the Wizard of Oz, who once he was revealed as a charlatan, begged for mercy.

Those of us with conscience and are conscious must embrace the United States of Africa and institute a new Governor into our collective existence. Once we are "done" many who are asleep will awaken. Those who stay asleep can then be awakened into a new day.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad wants us to do for self. His student and our brother, Minister Louis Farrakhan insists that we create these new institutions.

This is the best thing to be suggested for Africa in quite a while.

Lyndon LaRouche has been saying this for years but the Colonial Rulers have been against this idea for selfish reasons. Africa is the wealthiest Nation on Earth and would be the leader in almost every phase of life. Black America would be wise to be prepared to do business on a World
wide basis.

Unity of African States
9/17/1999

The continent of Africa will only make it through the wretched abuse of colonialism & Neo-colonialism if they unite and do so with out fear of retribution from European nations that have attached themselves to the motherland like a virus. The unified request for reparation is a key step because then the existence of cognizant knowledge of the deep wounds that exist can come forth without a party split or vote ...which is the reason Africa can not uniformly make decisions that are truly effective. Africa has the right to exist as a UNITED STATES just like America. The paternal relationship that exists with other nations must stop in order to exist in any capacity.

Another USA, United Afrika
9/18/1999

When the first talks of a US of Afrika began over 5 years ago, I was skeptical. I worried that Nelson Mandela - like leaders, with all due respect, would succumb to the wills of the current USA. There are not many strong willed leaders, like The Minister, who can resist the Amerikkkan dollar. After long consideration of the United Afrika, I now believe that this would be a good idea; provided the leaders do not depend on or allow US influence over politics, religion, or child rearing! I am curious to find out what the Amerikkkan leaders think about this proposal of unity. Please keep us posted. Allah is the Greatest!

I think this initiative is in the best interest "the people of Africa" only if this initiative is not a program of talk. That's all we seem to do. I've heard a lot of good talk, appealing to emotion, but never any action at home (USA).

Yes, we indeed need a true and unified U.S of Africa. The sooner the better.

We need to be able to stand strong together as African people. We need a strong government and strong military to defend our rights around the world. My sense is that African people are not respected around the world. We are always cheated and treated unfairly. If our case is not high profile like a Rodney King you better believe that the black will not get justice against a white.

We need those African countries that have money to invest in Black America. This will help free us from economic bondage here in America. Then we won't have to depend day to day on white leaders that marginalized us. We can have all the money we want but without a great defense, our enemies can come right up to us and take what we have.

Africa has been disorganized since colonialism resulting in the economic destruction of African people worldwide. Only if Africa unites will she began to correct the centuries of destruction that have been done to her. If Africa could unite it would be a strong stimulus for Africans worldwide to do likewise. I shall continue working to help her unite.

All of the countries in Africa should examine if and how they can provide dual citizenship for Africans in the Diaspora. This action would send the message that we are one people.

We need to design a process where any African in the would can participate in a worldwide forum or process on the quickest way to make Africa self sufficient. These ideas from all over the world would then give African the most effective way to resolve the agriculture, transportation, manufacturing
and communication problems. With all of this work that needs to be done we could employ all the Africans in the world.

Yes, "The United States Of Africa"
9/23/1999

The United States of Africa is the best thing that could happen to us all. It is certainly inevitable for this to become reality in the 21st century. Being a student of history, one thing stands out clear, that Africa is the producers of great things when there is a unified effort among the African people. When this finally happens it will truly be a New day, the So called Black Africans Will began to rewrite Our Story
and create a new heaven on Earth.

Sounds nice, won't work.
I have been to Africa. The diversity of opinion among the Africans (themselves) about the future of their countries and of the continent is so wide, that any idea concerning Africa, under one government is almost ludicrous.

A United States of Africa is definitely a good idea to pursue. Any unity among our people is subject to criticism. I am glad to see positive changes happening in the Motherland.

After being colonized for centuries, all of Africa's rich resources and mineral wealth being taken by capitalists, it's now time for Africa to reclaim her greatness. The once great nation of Africa can truly become that again, but only if she sees the vital necessity of unity, among all of states.

Africa should let America serve as her example. Africa should not become like America, GOD FORBID, but should strive for the unifying of all of her peoples. This unity will create great change within Africa, and eventually in the world. Once Africa starts to use her resources for the good of her people, the country will prosper and become one of the global leaders of the twenty-first century.

Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gadhafi and those that are with him should highly commended for calling for such a change. This truly is an "HISTORIC EVENT."

REMARKS ON THE UNITED STATES OF AFRICA
Date: 9/25/1999

Currently, the U.S., European Commonwealth, and supporting allies are embarking on the recolonization of  Africa. Too many African countries are embroiled in conflict, and genocide boldly ignored by the aforementioned "superpowers." We, the descendents of Pharoahs, Candaces, Obis, Obas, and the like must come together and link in solidarity, brotherhood, self-determination, self-love which will surely break the mental bonds of our slavery and unite--, ..."by any means necessary!" I believe their should be a nation of Africa because we must move forward for our people through change and devotion to big goals. We have not yet made a surge toward a nation for our people. we can only become a force with in ourselves. We as a people must establish ourselves as a supreme power and let the world know that we are a force to be recognized. We as a people can have our own and do just as well as any nation including the U.S. we must build an identity to show the world that we are a strong and intelligent group of people that can in fact rule this world. We must use our history to improve our lives today my brothers and sisters.

I am only 18 years old and I think that a United States of Africa would be beautiful because it would be good for all my fellow African brothers and sisters, but without the power and respect from white people we will only get into wars. I believe it would cause a war, or many small wars. I think it's a good idea though.

My Opinion
Date: 9/27/1999

I agree, wholeheartedly, with this concept of the United States of Africa. I have been a inhabitant of the United States for more than 53 years and I am thoroughly convinced that I am not American. If I were American, I would not need affirmative action, voter's rights bill, small business administration etc. I want to be honest and declare that
I will abide by the laws of this nation, but notwithstanding the color of my skin, I am not embraced or valued by this nation. I would like to have citizenship in Ghana, Nigeria or another west African country who may respect me for the content of my character rather than the color of my skin.

United States of Africa?

Peace, I don't think that would be a good idea simply for the fact that "United States" is in the proposed name. To me the idea would be grand if it was formed and carried out by for us by us! But I think white America would use it's pawns, money and military to control and govern the territory. Until the day when we can resist the bribes coming from the "pigs parlor" and trust Allah to guide and govern us, no matter what efforts are made it would be vulnerable to white domination.
