In his book titled "Our Saviour has Arrived", in chapter 19, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad discusses what he was taught by his teacher, Master Fard Muhammad: "He taught me for three years (night and day) on the histories of the two people, Black and white. He said that there was no birth record of the Black Man and, therefore, none can say how old the Black Nation is. As far back as, He said, a record has been kept, it dates 76 trillion years."

The assertion that Black people have existed for literally eons of time into the distant past, of course, flies in the face of the "mainstream" theories concerning the archeological record of life on this planet. Any statement that maintains that human history and culture actually dates back into the hundreds of millions, and billions of years, from the limited perspective of "mainstream" science, could only be viewed as some fantastic myth.

In recent years it has been shown, through the science of molecular genetics, that the DNA of the entire human family can be traced back to the womb of a Black woman living in Africa, between 140,000 and 300,000 years ago. This research tells us that any and all human archeological artifacts found buried in the Earth that can be dated as 300,000 years or older are indeed the creations of the Original Black people of the Earth, since, according to the genetic record, only the Black man and woman could have existed at that time!

With these facts as our frame of reference, let�s take a deeper look at the archeological record to see if what the Hon. Elijah Muhammad taught us is fact or fiction.

In a book so controversial that it has literally shaken the very foundations of "mainstream" archeological science, Dr. Richard L. Thompson, a Cornell University Ph.D., and mathematician, and his research associate Michael Cremo have meticulously documented and scientifically verified human-made archeological artifacts so ancient that they literally shatter all known (to this world) archeological time scales and frames of reference.

This well researched, 828-page study, titled, "Forbidden Archeology, The Hidden History Of the Human Race," upset so many "mainstream" archeologists upon its initial release (in 1993) that it was banned from the archeological research centers of various universities and other archeological research institutions; not withstanding the fact that no archeologist has been able to successfully challenge the findings in this book.

Authors Thompson and Cremo established three major premises as the thesis of their work: 1) Intelligent human beings have existed on this planet for hundreds of millions of years; 2) There exists a "knowledge filter" by many powerful groups of scientists of archeology tied to strong beliefs in mainstream evolutionary theories that blocks the scientific acceptance of archeological artifacts that don�t fit into the mainstream models of evolution and archeology; 3) That the radiocarbon method of dating ancient artifacts, which has been the tried and true bedrock of modern archeological science, is not reliable; and that the method known as stratigraphy, which is the dating of artifacts based on the actual geological strata and depth of earth in which they are found, is a more reliable measurement of their age.

In the second appendix of their book, Cremo and Thompson document the discoveries of archeological artifacts that have been suppressed or ignored by "mainstream" archeologists because of their inability to fit them into the "accepted" paradigms of human evolution on this planet. Many of these discoveries date back as far as the 19th century and have never been explained by "mainstream" archeologists.

In a section of the second appendix, the authors quote a report from Scientific American (June 5, 1852) concerning the blasting of a rock near Meeting House Hill, in Dorchester, Mass., where, after fragments weighing several tons had been scattered, a bell-shaped metallic vase resembling zinc in color was found. On the side of this metal vase were "six figures or a flower, or bouquet, beautifully inlaid with pure silver, and around the lower part of the vessel a vine or wreath, also inlaid with silver."

The authors, quoting the report, continue: "This curious and unknown vessel was blown out of solid pudding stone, fifteen feet below the surface." They go on to state: "According to a recent U. S. Geological Survey map of the Boston-Dorchester area, the pudding stone, now called the Roxbury conglomerate, is of Precambrian age, over 600 million years old. By standard accounts, life was just beginning to form on this planet during the Precambrian. But in the Dorchester vessel we have evidence indicating the presence of artistic metal workers in North America over 600 million years before Leif Erickson." That means, according to the teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, and as genetic science verifies, these artistic metal workers had to be Black!

In another section of the second appendix of their book, Cremo and Thompson say, "Over the past several decades, South African miners have found hundreds of metallic spheres, at least one of which has three parallel grooves running around its equator." They go on to quote Roelf Marx, curator of the museum of Klerksdorp, South Africa, where some of the spheres are housed, as saying: "The spheres are a complete mystery. They look man-made, yet at the time in Earth�s history when they came to rest in this rock no intelligent life existed. They�re nothing like I have ever seen before." These metallic spheres, according to Mr. Marx and the book�s authors, were found in rock sedimentation that is about 2.8 billion years old!

These metallic spheres are said to be so hard on their surfaces that they cannot be scratched, even by steel! In the last paragraph of the appendix, the authors say: "For the purposes of this study, it is the sphere with the three parallel grooves around its equator that must concern us. Even if it is conceded that the sphere itself is a limonite concretion, one still must account for the three parallel grooves. In the absence of a satisfactory natural explanation, the evidence is somewhat mysterious leaving open the possibility that the South African grooved sphere�found in a mineral deposit 2.8 billion years old�was made by an intelligent being."

Intelligent, indeed! If we take what we have learned from the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, with what has been discovered in the field of molecular genetics, and add on the evidence in this case, we begin to see a picture emerging of technologically advanced Black people in what is called Africa, who had mastered the metallurgical sciences (the science of separating and combining metals) close to 3 billion years ago, literally billions of years before the Triassic and Jurassic periods of the so-called dinosaurs!

And guess what. They had fore-parents and ancestors who would have had to pass down this technology and knowledge to them!
