From The Gospel of St. John, by Marcus Dods, D.D., which is a part
of the 25 volume set The Expositors Bible, which was edited by the
Reverend W. Robertson Nicoll, copyrighted 1903, we read:
With respect to the robe of Jesus, the Roman soldiers "... proceeded to
divide the clothes of Jesus among them. This also was customary among the
Romans, as it has been everywhere usual that the executioners should have as
their perquisite some of the articles worn by the condemned.
"The soldiers parted the garments of Jesus among them, each of the four
taking what he needed or fanciedturban, shoes, girdle, or under-coat; while
for the large seamless plaid that was worn over all they cast lots, being
unwilling to tear it. All this fulfilled an old prediction to the letter.
"The reason why it had been spoken of was that it formed a weighty element
in the suffering of the crucified. Few things can make a dying man feel more
desolate than to over-hear those who sit round his bed already disposing of
his effects, counting him a dead man who can no longer use the apparatus of
the living, and congratulating themselves on the profit they make by his
death.
"How furious have old men sometimes been made by any betrayal of eagerness
on the part of their heirs! Even to calculate on a mans death and make
arrangements for filling his place is justly esteemed indecorous and
unfeeling. To ask a sick man for anything he has been accustomed to use, and
must use again if he recovers health, is an act which only an indelicate
nature could be guilty of. It was a cruel addition, then, to our Lords
suffering to see these men heartlessly dividing among them all He had to
leave.
"It forced on His mind the consciousness of their utter indifference to
His feelings. His clothes were of some little value to them: He Himself of no
value. Nothing could have made Him feel more separated from the world of the
livingfrom their hopes, their ways, their lifeas if already He were dead
and buried.
"This distribution of His clothes was also calculated to make Him
intensely sensible of the reality and finality of death. Jesus knew He was to
rise again; but let us not forget that Jesus was human, liable to the same
natural fears, and moved by the same circumstances as ourselves. He knew He
was to rise again; but how much easier had it been expecting Him to rise! But
here were men showing that they very well knew He would never again need
these clothes of His."
Im among the grateful to Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad,
for making the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, for the Honorable Elijah
Muhammadas Jehovah made Aaron for Mosesto share his mission of the
resurrection of the dead. Im among those grateful to Allah that He made a
follower of the Messiah to take up what his teacher left behind, and use
itlike Paul, but better, to spread the word of God to the ends of the earth.
Look at Minister Farrakhans words about his teacher, from two powerful
articles titled: "Friendship In All Walk of Life," in The Final
Call, Vol. 8, No. 4 and 5. Get them. Or go to my website, become a
subscriber, and study them.
A tiny piece of what he wrote was: "By the help and power of Allah
(God), I will not leave this Earth until the whole world knows of the work of
the Honorable Elijah Muhammad .. ."
Minister Farrakhan promised he would do this back in 1955, when he first
entered the F.O.I. class, and he has been blessed to do it!
What about us? Will we do by the robe today as the wicked did by Jesuss
robe yesterday?
If you agree with what he wrote, in his powerful articles, in The Final
Call, Vol. 8, No. 4 and 5, then lets immediately put on
renewed strength and work harder than ever, for the cause represented by
Minister Farrakhan. That work includes responding to Minister Farrakhans
request by getting 1,000,000 subscriptions to this newspaper, The

This passage from the Holy Quran 37:114-122, is relevant to all that
appears above. It reads: "And certainly We conferred a favour on Moses and
Aaron. And We delivered them, and their people from the mighty distress. And
We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. And We gave them both the clear
Book. And We guided them on the right way. And We granted them among the
later generations (the salutation), Peace be to Moses and Aaron! Thus do We
reward the doers of good. Surely they were both of Our believing servants."
Moses and Aaron are among the signs of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and
Minister Farrakhan, whom Allah blesses, now and in the future, for their work
of executing the divine solution to our problems, "which is the problem of
the world"according to the Messiah.
It ought to be obvious, that a proposed solution to problemseven when
forcefully and even eloquentlypresented, to end all unresolved claims, that
yet does not resolve them, is no solution at all.
Nevertheless, this is widespread. So the problems get worse.
Its a well-recognized truth that problems cannot be solved on the same
level they were on when they were produced. Einstein is not the only one who
recognized this fact, but he is often given credit for stating it this way:
"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of
thinking we were at when we created them."
Again, the problems get worse.
We Muslims, under the leadership of Minister Farrakhan (and his teacher)
were given "problems" to study to gain the answers that bring us closer to
the mind and heart of God.
Here are brief definitions of the words, "thorough," and "knowledge," used
by Master Fard Muhammad on the cover of that Lesson. Well look at
"mathematical" later.
Websters and The American Heritage Dictionary, contain these
limited definitions: "Thorough" means: "executed without negligence or
omissions: a thorough search; complete; perfect; utter: thorough enjoyment;
extremely attentive to accuracy and detail; painstaking: a thorough worker;
having full command or mastery of an art, talent, etc.; extending or passing
through."
Further, "thorough" means: "Exhaustively complete; painstakingly accurate
or careful; absolute; utter; thoroughly executed or implemented all-out,
complete, consummate, exhaustive, full, good, in-depth, thoroughgoing,
through and through, total; marked by or exhibiting diligence in work or
study assiduous, diligent, hardworking, industrious, striving, disciplined,
steadfast, concentrated."
Knowledge is defined as: "the state or fact of knowing; familiarity,
awareness, or understanding gained through experience or study; the sum or
range of what has been perceived, discovered, or learned; learning;
erudition; specific information about something; acquaintance with facts,
truths, or principles; conversance, as by study or experience; clear and
certain mental apprehension; the body of truths or facts accumulated in the
course of time; the sum of whats known; the total comprehension of
everything."
What makes His "knowledge" both "thorough" and "mathematical?"
More, next issue, Allah willing.
