If we only partially accept the wisdom of God, through the Honorable
Minister Louis Farrakhan, we are turning down major keys to overcoming the
destructive things that happened to us during our childhood.
The consequence of such ungrateful refusal to learn such unsurpassed
freely provided wisdom, is that we potentially are placing ourselves in the
state of "the worst of creatures," according to the Holy Quran. We are
warned that this course ends in that which " none but the most unfortunate
shall enter."
Unless the impediments to our spiritual development, which were planted in
us during childhood, are overcome, we wont grow into oneness with God.
The following are the concluding words of Minister Farrakhans speech:
Self-Improvement; the Basis for Community Development. He delivered it in
Phoenix, Arizona, September 21, 1986.
He stated:
"The challenge now is yours and mine. I hope that you and I will be able
to say like Jesus, the strife is oer. The battle is done, man. The
victory of life is won. "
"Not number one in football, not number one in singing, dancing and
clowning, not number one in this and that, but the victory of life, meaning
that the Divine Life that God gave you, you finally have connected to the
Source of it.
"And now you have become one with God, so there is no more struggle, no
more strife, the ballet is over, the victory is won and you have become a
risen child of that Creator that has ascended to the heights. Then we can
say, Allelujah, for Praise belongs to God!
"Thank you for listening and may God bless you as I greet you in peace.
As-Salaam Alaikum."
The introductory material to his study guides, which grew out of that
speech, contained a letter, which began, in part:
"As-Salaam Alaikum
"Dear Helper in the cause of Allah:
"This letter is to introduce you to the new study guide material. These
study and training units are based upon a speech, which I delivered September
21, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona.
"This speech, in my judgment, formally ushers in that which is the
launching pad of a worldwide movement.
"Each study session is designed on the guidance of Allah to produce
self-examination; self-analysis; self-correction; and, to quicken in each of
us, the self-accusing spirit. For, it is only when we are awakened morally
that we have to face the self-accusing spirit, which leads to our
resurrection.
"Resurrection is that process that begins with the self-accusing spirit
and does not end until we become one in perfect harmony or peace with Allah
and His Creation."
Suppose we dont outgrow that which stunted our development (in certain
aspects), warped our minds and poisoned our hearts, when we were young?
Generally, and more often than not, later in life, we will see and treat
people, situations and problems as if they were the same as that which we
encountered during childhood, if we have not overcome such impediments.
Generally, this will be the case, later in our lives, even when we
encounter people, situations and problems that are actually beneficial rather
than the same as those detrimental encounters we experienced in our
childhood. In other words, well tend to read the new in terms of the old.
We may do it in ways that seem more grown up than the way real children
act. When were children we learn to mask our hurts and misunderstandings.
Thats when we learn our first lessons in denial and misperceive reality; to
make unnatural and painful experiences encounters more palatable or
acceptable.
With such messed up states of minds well often take friends for enemies
and enemies for friends. So we are taught in the scriptures not to judge
according to appearances!
Now God has visited us. Everything is being made new. As a result we often
encounter that of which we dont have a comprehensive knowledge or that which
our own knowledge and experience does not encompass. This is illustrated, for
example, in the teachings of Moses-Wise man scenario, in Surah 18 of the Holy
Quran.
False assumptions, misperceptions, misconceptions, part knowledge, jumping
to conclusions, narrow mindedness, short sightedness, tunnel vision,
self-centeredness, self-righteous; slick slanderer---these are among the mind
warping, heart poisoning factors that perpetuate themselves and result in bad
experiences and memories.
Wrong attitudes, learned when young, leads to our feeling alone;
depression; the sense of being disconnected from everyone---even from God and
self, even when in the company of many. Remoteness from God is hells nature.
Minister Farrakhans teachings of love and his study-guides can help us
out of this hell, IF we will but follow his instructions. Become a
study-group leader as defined by Minister Farrakhan.
Jesus prophesied of us in Matthew 13: 18-23. "Hear then the parable of
the sower. The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the word of the
kingdom without understanding it, and the evil one comes and steals away what
was sown in his heart.
"The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives
it at once with joy. But he has no root and lasts only for a time.
"When some tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, he
immediately falls away.
"The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but then
worldly anxiety and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit.
"But the seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the word and
understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields a hundred or sixty or
thirty-fold."
Minister Farrakhan, as his teacher, sows truth seeds. The ground are
hearts. How do we fit in this parable?
In Matthew 13:24-30 Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a
man who sowed good seed in his field. While everyone was asleep his enemy
came and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off. When the crop
grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well."
His servants asked: "Master, did you not sow good seed in your field?
Where have the weeds come from?" He answered, "An enemy has done this."
His servants asked, "Do you want us to go and pull them up?
He responded, "No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat
along with them. Let them grow together until harvest; then at harvest time I
will say to the harvesters, First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles
for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn. "
Jesus continued, in 13:36-43 "He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the
field is the world, the good seed the children of the kingdom. The weeds are
the children of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The
harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
In Matthew 13:49 he prophesied that at this worlds end, "The angels will
go out and separate the wicked from the righteous and ."
The Kingdom of Heaven is growing in America. Harvest time is real close.
