Studying
the work of a modern Moses, Aaron and Pharaoh

At
the end of an article I wrote, for The Final Call, on August
27, 1983, are these words:
"As of the moment of this writing, Minister
Louis Farrakhan is in Washington, D.C. He was invited to be one of the
speakers to that large group of marchers, and, thereby, to the
government and to the world. It may take a while for the majority to
understand the significance of his presence among that group at this
time. It will become clear after awhile. It will also be surprising,
but very beneficial.
"Minister Louis Farrakhan is gently inviting
them to Gods way, although they dont see it yet. Again,
they will.
"In chapter 35 of Isaiah there is a beautiful
description given of a way described as being produced by God in
the last days of this world. According to the 8th verse, ... it
shall be for those (i.e., the redeemed) the wayfaring men, though
fools, shall not error therein.
"Look at Isaiah 42:16, which reads, in part,
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not. We are
here described as the blind.
"Another significance in the word way is
that it is a course affording passage from one place to another. One
of the things that I am getting at in this series of articles is that
Almighty God, through the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, has made Minister
Farrakhan the chief meansa wayby which our people are and will
come from where we presently are to where He wants us to be."
Note my use of the word "a." The other or
next "way" is Gods terrible whipping. In the next
article, written on September 27, 1983, I wrote:
"In most cases, it is wise to let a person, or
persons, finish their work, or let it run its course, before placing a
final judgment upon it. Even Allah warns us of this with respect to
His revelations to those men who were specially chosen for our
guidance. He thus warns the impatient.
"Chapter 10, verse 39 of the Holy Quran
reads: Nay, they reject that, whose knowledge they cannot compass
and whose final sequel has not yet come to them. Even thus did those
before them reject; then see what was the end of the wrongdoers.
"I did not make a mistake in how I referred to
Minister Farrakhan in the last paragraph of my last article. Nor did I
go as far as I intend to go.
"Broadly speaking, as Moses was to God, so was
Aaron to Moses. Let us look at chapter 20, verse 70 of the Holy Quran.
It reads:
So the enchanters fell down prostrate, saying:
We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses.
"Notice that Aarons name precedes the name
of Moses. Remember, however, that God quoted, in His holy book, or
represented, the sentiments of the people, specifically those from
among Moses people whom Pharaoh used in his attempt to defeat the
plan of God through Moses. These people (who really refer to the Black
clergy class of today and, to a lesser extent, the political and
educational class of our people) were exclaiming their excitement over
their sudden realization of the rightness of God and Moses through the
work of Aaron. Aaron was openly in their midst doing a wonderful work.
They were overwhelmed by the power of his proclamations. They were
coming to recognize who he was."
[As they came to see Aaron more clearly, they came
to see themselves and their people in terms of Gods love for them.]
I continued: "All of this is really being
fulfilled in our eyes today. There is a growing number of Black
pastors around the country who are beginning to recognize that a truly
divine work is being performed in America through Minister Louis
Farrakhan. This, of course, makes them to re-examine the person,
mission, teachings and significance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
"Just as people had to see the Honorable
Elijah Muhammad before they could see Master Fard Muhammad, now, since
the nation has fallen, the vast majority of the people cannot and will
not really see the Honorable Elijah Muhammad except by means of the
work of Minister Louis Farrakhan. This will become clearer as time
goes on.
"Isaiah, chapter 29, has statements that are
not merely relevant, but actually prophetic of things going on right
now in our midst. I here quote some of the verses at this point. Here
are verses 11-14, 18-21, and verse 24.
And the vision of all is become unto you as the
words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is
learned, saying, read this I pray thee, and he saith, I cannot; for it
is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
Wherefore, the Lord said, Forasmuch as this
people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour
me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me
is taught by the precepts of men.
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a
marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder:
For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding
of their prudent men shall be hid.
And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of
the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and
out of darkness. The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord,
and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel, for
the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed,
and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: That make a man an
offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the
gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught .
They also that erred in spirit shall come to
understanding and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. "
Further down I continued:
"The above passages from the book of Isaiah
point directly to Black folk in this country and the work of our
resurrection now going on.
"Throughout America, Black and White people
are speaking about the greatness of the short and powerful speech {six
minutes) that was delivered by Minister Louis Farrakhan in Washington,
D.C., at the Martin Luther King March. It is the very purpose of
God Himself that Minister Farrakhan be brought to further national
attentionat this time, in this way, in that place, and on that
occasion. Much more is to come, for God and His Christ want Minister
Farrakhan to be known and understood, for again, he is delivering The
Final Call.
"We should study all the
references in the scriptures [that] relate to the interrelatedness of
the activities of God, Moses, Aaron and Pharaoh. It would help us to
study the help that Joseph gave to Pharaoh and [that] Pharaohs
grateful response. Almighty God Allah rewards gratitude for His
favors. These give us pictures of these in which we live."
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said everything
written in the Bible was written to give us a picture of today. The
Holy Quran verifies the Bibles truths. Both books verify what he
and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan teach and they verify both
books, in their persons, missions, teachings and works.
In connection with all Ive written, from Vol.
19, No. 46 to this article, please reflect on these
words of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad from one of his Theology of
Time talks.
He stated: "If our Father was made on the
number one, how did He get that figure when that there had not been
anymore on the Earth or in the universe before His creation? How did
He become one? How?"
"We just only want to build up ourselves, so
that we may know who we are; how we got to be who we are." [Why
did he go waaaaaaaaaaay that far back to show us our identity and to
our assignment?]
He continued: "If [the] atom was one, could it
have [always] have been one? Were taught that an atom is 1/10,000
of 1. Right? If its 1/10,000 of onecertain parts of it, elementsthen,
how did our Father get up all those other parts to become one
part?"
"If our Father was made on the number one, how
did He get that figure when that there had not been anymore on the
Earth or in the universe before His creation? How did He become one?
How?"
For several months Ive thought to take up his
words, from that Theology of Time speech, in relation to the
capacity for love in and the redemptive suffering of the
Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. These words could help us to see into
that particular love out of which Minister Farrakhanand you
who are truly with himwere created. This can also help us improve
our relation to him and his waysif understood. Why? Youll
love him deeper.
Ill begin this through articles I wrote 18 years
ago. Yesterday [Dec.12th] I went through a medical procedure that now
lets me concentrate better on becoming a better helper of my Beloved
Brother [Minister Farrakhan] and my Nation [you] by getting well.
I cannot adequately thank you who have and are
praying for me, who sent me cards and letters, and otherwise sent good
thoughts to me. Im deeply humbled and very grateful by this. And,
I love you too.
More next issue, Allah willing. |
