"Allah bears witness that there is no
god by He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge,
maintaining justice. There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise."
Holy Quran, Surah 3, Verse 17
The most powerful expression of Allahs Divine Unity is revealed in
the family unit. This unit according to the Holy Quran begins with
God, Himself, Who creates humans from the very nature of His Own Being
and then He creates pairs from Himself, both the male and the female,
through whom He reproduces the human family of the Planet Earth.
He establishes His law of regeneration through
addition and multiplication in a precise mathematical and scientific
way, which manifest all life in our universe.
"I, Allah, am the best Knower, Allah, (there is)
no god but He, the Ever-living, the Self-subsisting, by Whom all
subsist." Surah 3, Verses 1-2
"Surely nothing in the earth or in the heaven is
hidden from Allah. He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases.
There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise." Surah 3, Verses 4-5
In these foregoing verses, we have established the
principles of Gods Divine Unity by His Own Active Will and
Participation in the Affairs of men and women and all created things.
For the past 6,000 years of world history, an open
enemy has been loosed on our planet making mischief and causing
bloodshed. Prior to this period this enemy was hidden but has now become
an open disputant to his Lord as well as an opponent to Gods Law of
Divine Unity. Satan is a rebel and has ruled men and nations by
corrupting the family unity causing dissension, mischief and the
shedding of blood.
This history of Satans rebellion to God is
recorded in the book of Genesis of the Bible when one of the sons of
Adam, Cain, murdered his brother, Abel. This makes Eve, as described in
the Bible, the mother of offspring who are capable of doing both good
and evil. This act of violence and murder marked the first manifestation
of the destruction of family life.
In this fall of man and mankind from the Divine Law
of God which renders Obedience and Submission to His Will is really the
very nature and essence of Gods True Religion, which is the
expression of Peace.
Where did this disobedience and rebelliousness in man
originate? Did it enter in as an outside force, or is it an inside force
operating in man independent of God? Why does the Holy Quran say that
man was made in haste? Why is there turmoil within our families, with
some members inclined towards the doing of good, while others may be
more inclined towards devious and mischievous behavior? What part does
the woman play in the generation of life from her womb? Why is the
training and reform of the woman in todays society the principle
character in perfecting family life and values? How should we begin the
process of this reform among our women?
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that a
nation can rise no higher than its woman which means that the key to
restoring family life and values is centered around the reeducation,
training and reform of our women. We are losing generations of men and
women who are being destroyed for the lack of knowledge, direction and
guidance due to the highly skilled manipulation of Satans world. This
worlds example of wickedness is totally diverting us away from the
true Knowledge of Self and the Knowledge of God reducing us to a state
of savagery.
According to the Holy Quran, a woman of Amran
conceived in her womb a child who was named Mary. Her prayer prior to
birth was that this child would be devoted to the Service of God. So
when she brought forth the child as a female, the law at that time, as
it is today, was to separate her from the priestly service in the Temple
or Synagogue. This woman of Amran prayed that her child would be
protected from the accursed devil. She grew up in the charge of
Zacharias who, upon visiting the sanctuary which was her abode, always
found food with her. When questioning Mary as to the source of this
food, she answered that it was from Allah. Because of the righteousness
of the woman, Mary, Zacharias prayed to his Lord for goodly offspring.
The angels answered him by giving him the good news of John who would be
honorable and chaste and a prophet from among the good ones.
Mary grew up in obedience to her Lord and was found
dutiful in the Service of her Lord with the consequence that the angels
also appeared to Mary and announced the birth of a son who was named
Jesus who later became known as the Messiah.
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has given us
the prototype of Mary, chosen above the women of the world, to study and
to examine in the process of the rebuilding of our broken down
communities and societies in America and the world. He renamed and
rededicated our Mosque Headquarters in Chicago, Ill., under the Name,
Mary, Mother of Jesus. He described the process of our education at
Muhammad University of Islam and Educational Center as the cornerstone
for the accelerated training of our women and our children in our
preparation for giving birth to a New World Civilization. By following
the virtues and example of this special woman Mary, we will repel Satans
world and nullify the grip and control that he has had on our children
and families throughout the ages.
The Family of Amran delivers a message to the three
great monotheistic religious communities of the world, Islam,
Christianity and Judaism, compelling us to unite in one accord by going
to war against Satans aims and purpose to destroy righteous family
living.
We must free our women to be properly educated and
trained under righteous teachers in every field of endeavor which gives
honor and respect to the virtues of women. This will bring about the
equality between the male and the female without prejudice or denial of
her Divine Gifts of the Spirit. This will raise a new standard of
righteousness in giving birth to a New World Civilization that is
centered on the Divine Unity of Almighty God, Whose Proper Name is
Allah.
"Those who say: Our Lord, we believe, so forgive
our sins and save us from the chastisement of the fire. The patient and
the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend and those who ask
Divine protection in the morning times." Surah 3, Verses 15-16
"But if they dispute with thee say: I submit
myself entirely to Allah and (so does) he who follows me. And say to
those who have been given the Book and the Unlearned (people): Do you
submit yourselves? If they submit, then indeed they follow the right
way; and if they turn back, thy duty is only to deliver the message. And
Allah is Seer of the servants." Surah 3, Verse 19
