'Or do you think that you will enter the
Garden, while there has not yet befallen you the like of what befell
those who have passed away before you. Distress and affliction befell
them and they were shaken violently, so that the Messenger and those who
believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the
help of Allah is nigh!" Holy Quran, Surah 2,124
The 99th Surah of the Holy Quran is
titled, "The Shaking." When prefixed by the Number 19, we get
the final chronological year of this 20th Century. As we prepare to
enter into the New Millennium, the phenomenal signs of destruction,
chaos and death are occurring with ever increasing frequency in this
final year and truly answers to the condition of our times and The
Shaking of a Great Magnitude.
"Ask of the Children of Israel how many a clear sign We gave
them! And whoever changes the favour of Allah after it has come to him,
then surely Allah is Severe in requiting (Evil)" Surah 2, verse
211. The unusual display of the heavens with her astronomical signs is
also bearing witness to the severity of the times. Beginning on November
17th and ending on November 19th, one of the brightest displays of a
meteor shower was observed in many parts of the Midwest and in other
geographical areas around our Planet.
Dubbed as the Leonid meteor show or shooting stars display, it
contained stones and ice particles from the Comet Temple-Tuttle which
passes Earth once a year, and in every 33 years it is closest to the sun
in a repeated cycle which coincides with the 33rd Surah. Is it a
coincidence that the 33rd Surah of the Holy Quran titled "The
Allies," speaks of a Battle staged by the opponents of the Prophet
Muhammad which included a coalition of some of the disbelieving leaders
of the various tribes joining in with a party from among the Jews, who
consolidated their actions along with the Hypocrites to come against the
Prophet and his young, new struggling Community.
In the 11th verse of this Surah, we again read the word,
"shaking," revealed in the context of the confrontation of the
Muslims with all the opposing forces. "There were the believers
tried and they were shaken with a severe shaking. And when the
hypocrites and those in whose hearts was a disease began to say: Allah
and His Messenger did not promise us (victory) but only to
deceive." Surah 33, verses 11 & 12
Today, we stand, in relationship to our contemporary world, to repeat
this History inside of America overcoming adversities as it was in the
time of the Prophet in the City of Medinah in Arabia. It was in the city
of Chicago, where the headquarters of The Nation of Islam was
established by Master W. Fard Muhammad and His Disciple, the Honorable
Elijah Muhammad, while on the run from opposing forces to the spread of
Islam in this country. So, today, as expressed in the Honorable Minister
Louis Farrakhans last Saviours Day Address of this year, titled,
"An Apologia," the dissatisfaction, plot and plotters are well
entrenched in the House being aided by those on the outside who wish to
see our destruction and failure.
"The life of this world is made to seem fair to those who
disbelieve, and they mock those who disbelieve. And those who keep their
duty will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives to
whom He pleases without measure." Surah 2, verse 212
The Hypocrites do not want to see the success of the Believers and
will do everything possible to discredit their efforts in their
strivings to please Allah. The unfortunate sign of the deep dive of
EgyptAir Flight 990 contained not only the number 99 coinciding with
this year but is also numbered in the Holy Quran in the 99 Surah,
entitled "The Shaking." The aircraft began its fateful descent
from an altitude of 33,000 feet, and then dipped to a 19,000 foot
ceiling and ultimately disappeared into a watery grave out of which
controversy has emerged surrounding suspicion of one of the Muslim
pilots involved. Once again, thus placing Islam and the Muslims in the
center of controversy.
"Mankind is a single nation. So Allah raised prophets as bearers
of good news and as warners, and He revealed with them the Book with
truth, that it might judge between people concerning that in which they
differed. And none but the very people who were given it differed about
it after clear arguments had come to them, envying one another. So Allah
has guided by His will those who believe to the truth about which they
differed. And Allah guides whom He pleases to the right path." Holy
Quran, Surah 2, verse 213
To be continued.
