My subject is from Isaiah, the prophet. "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations and they shall repair the wasted cities, the desolations of many generations."

The reason I quoted that is because Isaiah, the prophet, was looking at the work of the Messiah. He was foreshadowing that work by saying that you cannot do this work just because you pick up a Bible. You cannot do this work just because you pick up a Torah or a Holy Qur�an. If the anointing of the Spirit of God is not on you, then you will only be like tinkling cymbals and sounding brass. You will be more of an entertainer in the Name of God, but you will not produce that which is necessary to claim Jesus.

To claim the Messiah, to claim the presence of God, there is a work that has to be done. It�s a time now that the little man, the poor, the weak have to be lifted up; and it is the day of vengeance. Most of us like to see God and His Christ in milquetoast terms. We like a God that will tolerate us and will not chastise us. I don�t represent that kind of God. And if you preach the Gospel, you don�t represent a God like that because there is an end to grace and there is an end to mercy. And there is a beginning to God�s chastisement of His people and His vengeance on the wicked who have heard the word but refuse to act according to the directives in the word of God.

You can�t play with God. We can�t sing our way into heaven. We can�t shout our way into heaven. We have to work our way there in accordance with the mission that God placed upon His servant, whom the Christians call the Christ and the Muslims call the Mahdi and the Jews call the Messiah. Such a one is what I want to talk to you about today.

From the Christian perspective I bear witness that Jesus is the Christ. From the Muslim perspective, I bear witness that the Mahdi is the Self Guided One Who comes with power to end tyranny and oppression on the earth. I bear witness that such a man�not a spook nor a spirit, but a human being�we should be looking for. I bear witness to the Jews and the Hebrews who await the Messiah. You are wise to await Him. I think, though, we have to put Jesus, the Messiah, the Mahdi in the context of time and place.

Second Thessalonians says that God�s coming is after the workings of Satan. So when Satan�s time is up, we should expect the coming of God. You may say, "where has He (God) been?" He�s always been here but He allowed Satan to rule for a season. But after Satan�s time of rule is up, the righteous should be looking for the coming and the presence of God.

If Satan has had power, then his power is most prominent in religion. Whether it�s Islam, Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism, whatever your religion is, Satan didn�t leave you alone. Satan�s idea is to confuse you with respect to Jesus, with respect to the Messiah and the Mahdi, that you may be worshipping that which you know not and then reject the one that would come.

Satan is not the friend of Jesus or the friend of Christians or the friend of Muslims or the friend of Jews. He (Satan) will come in the straight path of religion because if he can deceive the righteous, his job is done. Not only has Satan deceived the righteous, but the scripture says he deceived the whole world. The Book says that he (Satan) would deceive even the very elect of God. In this beautiful audience here and the beautiful audiences looking around the country and watching by satellite in your homes, there are those who love Jesus, who love the Messiah, who hope for the presence of the Mahdi, but you don�t have an image, you don�t have a picture. Every week on television there is a program where they talk about crimes that have been committed and they put up the picture of a suspect. They tell you that if you see such a person to call a certain number. They give you a description of the person and they�ll even give you a reward if any information that you can give will lead to the capture of a felon.

They (Whites) know that Jesus was not a Caucasian. You say, "well, what difference does his color make?" It must have made a difference, otherwise they would have left him as he is. But they painted him Caucasian and gave you the image of him and taught you a word that would make you fall in love with him, but in reality they wanted you to fall in love with their image and worship them rather than worship Jesus and the God that raised him for you and me.

To the Caucasian people who believe in Jesus, don�t be angry with me. But if you knew that he had hair like lambs wool, then maybe you wouldn�t have been so quick to call us burr-head niggers. If you knew that his feet were like brass burned in an oven, or burnish brass, then you wouldn�t have been so quick to mark us as darkies and ask us why we didn�t wash our faces; why we are Black? This is not reverse racism because any true servant of God hates racism. But deceit is what we want to expose today. These that brought our fathers into slavery, that locked the Bible from us, these are the same people who began to teach us of Jesus. How could you trust them to teach you right when they have never treated you right? This is why I want to help you today to put Christ in a context of time, that if the work of Christ is going on you will not be blind to it, because he said you will know him by his works.

What are the works? He�s anointed and the spirit of God is upon him. He preaches glad tidings to the meek. Are you the meek? What�s the good news, brother? Is the good news that (Al) Gore might have won? Is the good news that (George W.) Bush got in? Is the good news that one of your brothers (Colin Powell) is the secretary of state? Is the good news that they are going to give a little money to faith based organizations?

He�s got to proclaim liberty to the captive, open the prison houses to those who are bound. Are you at liberty? Are you free? There are many prisons, and you are bound in every one of them. You are bound first in the prison house of ignorance. We are bound in the prison of sin and immorality. We are bound in the madness of white supremacy; and we are actually bound in the physical prisons of our slave masters� children. Who has proclaimed liberty for you? If you still are ignorant to the greatest knowledge, the knowledge of God, the knowledge of self, the knowledge that would give you power to extricate yourself from your enemy, then you yet are bound and you still are in need of the Anointed One to proclaim the Acceptable Year of the Lord.

Isaiah the prophet asked the question, shall the prey be taken from the mighty or the lawful captive delivered? Who is a lawful captive? "But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: And all flesh shall know that I the Lord am the Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob."

This is why we have what is called Saviours� Day. Even though you have come somewhat acquainted with us as Muslims, you don�t understand who this Master Fard Muhammad is. You never did understand the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, though he worked a work among you that no Black man has ever done before him or since. There is no doubt that the condition that we are in demonstrates that we are in need of a deliverer. I know that Jesus is the deliverer. The question is, who is he and in what time period shall he deliver you, since you still need to be delivered from the hands of your captives and from the power of the government of the United States that has been your perpetual oppressor?

John the Baptist preceded Jesus. He said the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent. Repentance means that you turn away from a behavior that is incompatible with the will of God. This nation has not repented of its evil done to the native and indigenous people. It has not repented of the evil that they have poured on our fathers and continue to pour on us.

A prey shall be taken from the mighty. What is a prey? It is a creature hunted or caught for food; a quarry; a victim; to hunt, catch or eat as prey; to victimize or make a profit at someone else�s expense; to plunder or pillage; to exert a baneful or injurious effect. Are you a prey in the hands of a mighty nation? We were captured and brought here. Some of our people were involved in that as there always are some of us who betray others of us. It�s been that way and, unfortunately, it is that way. There will always be some of us who will sell out others of us for some small pittance promised by the enemy.

Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Do you know what that means? You see how the wicked will plant a few of their people to justify doing what they�re going to do. God does the same thing. He raises his servant up to get a few of you to clean up and straighten up. And with that few, He claims the whole and then He fights for the whole. That�s why He says, "I will contend with them that contend with thee."

I want to say to you [Blacks in America], nobody can deal with America but God. You can buy your little guns, but you�re wasting your time and your money because you will never use these little pop guns against the well-armed white people of this nation. Don�t lead your people in the direction of suicide. Lead your people wisely. Allah said the battle is with Him.

Look at how He fights. Did you know that 1999 was the worst year of weather in the history of the nation. Both coastlines are being destroyed. The Holy Qur�an says, He will curtail her of her sides, pushing the people from the coasts into the center. You haven�t seen anything yet. America, as I speak, is under Divine Judgement. I want you to watch what Allah does inside America. I am His servant, make no mistake about that. I�m not boasting or bragging. I have no power, but the power is with Him.

Christ means The Crusher. Christ is not his last name, it�s his title. He is the crusher of the wicked and that�s what he�s here to do�deliver you and me and crush our enemies. The Bible says he stored up snow in the north. You haven�t seen snow like you are going to see it. You like cold. The Bible says he will bring cold out of the north. It will be so cold that it will freeze your lungs; hail stones the size, not of golf balls, but blocks of ice. Earthquakes. But we are going to get some of it, too. You�re going to know that God is in the world and He�s not to be denied.

Babylon is fallen, is fallen, John, the Revelator says. Why? She has become a habitation of devils and a hold of every fowl spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hateful bird. This is your America. Every filth and abomination is practiced here, and we have become a nation of little devils, all in rebellion to God.

The people said they loved Jesus, but he piped to them all the day long and they would not dance; and he mourned to them and they wouldn�t even lament. You are not in the rhythm of truth. You like the truth but you live in filth. You are insane in your madness and now God is going to punish you. And when he gets through whipping you, you will be ready to bow down and clean up your act. No teaching is going to make you a better people.

So while the enemy is getting his, you will be getting that chastening whipping from God to make you know that Christ does not play. You�re not going to use his holy and righteous name to carry on your filth. You�re not going to play with Muhammad either. That�s the same, the Mahdi. The prophet, it�s the same. The Messiah, the same. Don�t play with that. You�re playing with a hot fire.
