he Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us that there can never be a true and lasting peace until the nations are filled with an exceedingly great desire to do justice by one another, for as long as there is no justice among the nations there can be no peace among the nations. The hope of the United Nations is to prevent another global war. However, it appears that the nations are quickening their pace toward World War III, which is called in the scriptures of the Bible, Armageddon. The United Nations as a body can never produce peace unless it is committed to enforce the principles of justice.

Since the United Nations is not a war-making body, the only way it can produce justice is through sanctions and marshalling the force of world opinion through moral persuasion. However, since a veto from one of the five permanent members of the Security Council of the United Nations can stop any sanction against a nation�s unjust actions that threaten world peace, it is easy to see that the United Nations is not a body that has been set up to produce peace and, therefore, cannot be looked upon as the hope of those who sincerely seek peace and justice.

The powers that rule and govern this world are referred to in the Book of Daniel and Revelations under the symbol of beasts. A beast is not moved by moral persuasion. A beast does what it has the appetite and the power to do. The Holy Qur�an refers to the vilest of beasts as the deaf and dumb. Those governments that are deaf to the cries of the poor and the oppressed for justice, and those nations who are dumb to speaking truth on behalf of the deprived, the poor, the weak and the oppressed are the vilest of beasts.

Since the prophets saw the mentality of the ruling powers of this world as that of beasts, then global war and world wide revolution is inevitable, for this is the only language a beast understands.

The majority of the people of this earth want peace. Why then is global war inevitable? It is because of the policies of the governments of the world.

Jesus prophesied wars and rumors of wars; he prophesied that kingdom would rise against kingdom and nation against nation. This prophecy is absolutely correct according to the actions of the nations today. The winds of revolution and war are blowing from all parts of the earth because the governments of the nations are not in harmony with the earnest desire and will of the people for peace. The government leaders talk peace because this satisfies the people, but their policies lead to war.

Though I wish for peace, and hope for peace, and though I wish for disarmament and hope for disarmament, I know that the course that the nations are bent upon is absolute and total war.

The interference by the superpowers in the affairs of small nations is hastening the day of total war. The injustices done to the Palestinian people by taking away their land in the Middle East and by making them vagabonds in the earth is hastening the day of total war. Colonialism, racism, Zionism, and the exploitation that is being practiced by nation against nation, by the rich against the poor, by the strong against the weak, by one color against another color, by one religion against another religion is hastening the day of total war.

In the Book of Joel, 3:9-10, it is written, "Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plow shares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say I am strong."

This is exactly what the weak nations of the earth are doing. They are lessening cultivation and building up weapons of war, and saying, "I am strong."

Libya is saying "I am strong," although a nation of only three million people. Cuba, a nation of 12 million, is saying, "I am strong," as is Nicaragua.

The weak are buying weapons of war. Why? Because it�s the time of peace?

In the Book of Ecclesiastes it says there�s a time and a season for every purpose under the heavens. There�s a time to be born and a time for peace and a time for war. And, although the world talks peace, it is the time for the nations to prepare for war.

And although we would like to cultivate the earth and cultivate our people, it is time for war.

The communists don�t believe in the Bible. They don�t believe in any prophets. But I can�t help what they don�t believe in. I believe in the prophets and what they taught in the Scriptures of the Bible and the Qur�an. That is my manifesto, so I must speak from the base that is mine whether they like it or not. I know that what I say will come to pass because it is backed by Allah (God) and His Christ.

Why must there be global war? Again, in Joel 3:2-3, it says, "I will also gather all nations," not some, "and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshafat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. And they have cast lots of my people, and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink."

There�s the reason for the war.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad in his book, "The Fall of America," describes the valley of Jehoshafat as Europe and America. All of the nations are going to go to war because of Black people who have been sold for wine that White people may drink. This is the reason for the global war.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad had said to us that neither justice nor peace shall come to the nations of the earth until the 400-year-old problem of Black people in America has been solved with justice. And the reason why no other nation can have justice or peace until the problem of the Blacks in America has been solved is because God Himself is championing our cause. I repeat, America can have no peace nor joy in liberty and the deprived nations or Third World nations can have no justice until the Black man of America�s problem is solved with justice as the nations are tied to America�s problem in such a way that her problems make problems for the world. So what truly helps America helps the nations of the earth.

Some Arabs, some Jews, some Africans, Europeans, and Americans were involved in the bringing of Black people into slavery in America, and into the wretched and shameful condition and position at the foot of the nations of the earth. Some Arabs, some Jews, some Africans, Europeans and Americans were a party to the worst Holocaust in human history that has cost the loss of lives of over 100 million Black men, women and children.

So it is natural that these people particularly are being offered the wonderful and merciful chance to escape the chastisement of Allah (God) that each is justly due by their being asked to help in solving the problem of the Black people of America, which includes the more than 2 million Indians in America.

In the Bible in the Book of Revelations, 11:18, it reads, "And the nations were angry and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldst give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldst destroy them which destroy the earth."

The nations are becoming increasingly angry. The poor nations of the earth are angry because of the injustice done to them by the rich. The rich nations of the earth are angry because of their loss of the power to suck the blood of the poorer and weaker nations of the earth.

But Almighty Allah (God) is also angry. And at the root of His anger is injustice done to the poor and the weak nations of the earth, but His anger is focused on America because of the injustice of this people to a particular and peculiar people that He has carved out for His glory and chosen to be His.

In Central and South America, according to what the prophets have written and according to what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us, there would be ten independent nations there that would give their power to the beast and to the whore. And later would hate the beast and hate the whore and burn them with fire and make them desolate. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad has said to us that this means that the nations of Central and South America would rise up against the false message and the false church that is not of Jesus Christ, that is sucking the blood of the poor.
