In the last issue of this paper, we were comparing the
natural law of freedom by using the sun, which is the greatest light we
have for our home (the earth).
The comparison of the physical work of the sun with the
spiritual teaching of Islam is not something that I am doing based on my
own ideas; it is according to the very natural law by which this great
light and heat (the sun) was created.
Everything in the universe testifies to the truth of the
great wisdom of Allah. As I said before, He displays to us His creations
of great unmatched wisdom. It is like looking into a mirror and seeing
the great unequal work of a Divine Supreme Being far our superior.
The law He (Allah) made for His creations is not broken
by them. It is obeyed by them every second of the minute. Freedom of the
physical universe makes the original peoplethe Black nationspiritually
free people and freedom loving people.
All life that is in the universe was made free and
freedom is essential to that life. We have been made a captive people by
our enemies, the European white race, in Africa, and have been used for
commercial purposes against our fathers will.
According to the history about this unforgettable
imprisonment, our foreparents all wanted to return to their native land
as soon as they were in the ship on their way across the Atlantic Ocean
to the Western Hemisphere. They stood weeping and crying on this shore
for the freedom to return on the ship Jesus to their native home.
The enemy, who had purchased them and bound them in
chains, had not a heart of mercy to return them, for he wanted to use
our forefathers and our fathers and their children for commercial
purposes.
We can bear witness to each other that the white man is
all but the same today as his father was in those days when he deceived
and forced the Black man into servitude slavery as a prisoner. Now
today, he is still using many tricks on us, the so-called American
Negro, the lost and found aboriginal Black nation, in order to keep us
here with him without equal freedom.
With deceitful and untruthful sayings, such as: "You are
citizens of America;" "You are the same as I am;" "This is your country
as well as mine," they try to make us believe that we are freebut we
are not free as they are.
We are not equal citizens with them. We have never been
citizens of the Western Hemisphere. We cannot be made equal citizens of
the white man, unless he is willing to be equal with us with everything
that he has here in this country.
You are begging for just the right to be called a
citizen, or an equal human being. You are not getting that, and you
never will get that.
They will not even let you be buried equal with them.
There are many cemeteries in which the so-called Negro
cannot lay his dead bodies to rot, but that is alright. We should not
crave for anything like that, for the Bible teaches you and me that we
are all alike in death. And that we know.
You are so much wanting to be like the slave master,
until it has become a disgrace to us.
Freedom is essential to life. The forced imprisonment,
and the spiritual and mental enslavement of our forefathers is now being
practiced on us, the descendants of our slave fathers.
JusticeWe come now to "justice," which is represented
by the star. This is what the star represents in our flag, the second
lights created in the heavens. The stars physically justify the great
wisdom and work of Almighty God, Allah, Who created them. The star is
used in our flag as an emblem of justice.
They (the stars) too are like the sun; they justify the
work of their creator by their obedience to the law by which they were
created and serve. Almighty God, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad,
to Whom praise is due forever, taught me that after making the sun, they
saw that the star was good to put in our flag and they created the star.
We had the Sun a long, long time before the star. Six
trillion years passed over us, Allah taught me, before another light was
created, (the stars).
Take our planets. We can see them at night from the
light that the sun casts upon them. Being in the shadow of our earth
tonight, we can see these great planets that are in the sun reflecting
the great light of the sun to us.
Some we call our morning stars, or evening stars as they
rotate around the sun in their orbits, obeying the law in which Allah
has made them, bowing to the sun. This again gives us a physical
knowledge of what the Great Creator has made for us, who are as small
creatures, like atoms, to the size of other things that have been
created, crawling around on the surface of this earth.
Our little planet, earth, is dwarfed by the enormous
size of other planets. Nevertheless, we are like the atom in size, and
we are like the atom in power, very small and not discernible by the
naked eye if we get just a few hundred feet above the earth. But we are
powerful enough to control the mighty earth and its mighty neighbors.
The stars represent physical justice and justify justice
to that which is in the sun. We are in the sun on this planet which is
free in the sun and which is justified as an equal planet by the other
planets that are in the sun. Nevertheless, we are unequally justified by
another human being or race that is in the suns free light and warmth
on a free earth with us, who was not given shares in the earth by Him
who created the earth.
Justice is, therefore, essential to us, as freedom. To
be without justice is to be a prey to others.
God Almighty, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to
Whom praise is due forever, is here today to give us freedom and justice
and justify us as being the aboriginal people of the earth, whose father
was self-created. This work of justice is the base of His coming, as the
Bible teaches us in a certain place that His going forth was with
justice. ...
