ROLL CALL!

A new facet of our divine program has been launched�the Television Ministry of our Leader and Teacher, The Honorable Louis Farrakhan. Here, in Chicago and the surrounding area, he will be seen and heard on Channel 62, WJYS. Wherever this signal reaches, the Minister can be observed and studied every Tuesday, from 9 to 10 pm. All within reach of this telecast should be watching diligently, as well as getting the news of the telecast to everyone in your area that you are able to contact, by whatever means.

Now, to the rest of our readers, who are not in the area which can receive this signal. What can you do? It is very simple, and I am not theorizing �I am drawing upon the experience of myself and others. If you are out of earshot and the line of vision of this particular telecast, all is not lost.

If you are a part of a Mosque or Study Group, you should meet immediately and strategize. If you come upon something that seems outstanding, please hasten to send me a brief description of it, and I may be able to facilitate your helping some others who are not as creative as you.

First off, as we are taught, we never make a move, especially a major one, without first counting the cost. I bring this up because, as unbelievable as it may sound, we have had experiences, both historically and recently, wherein some who claimed allegiance to The Minister and the Nation launched programs in their area and looked toward Headquarters to pay for them. I know that to a sane person this sounds incredible, but stick around and observe.

If you are beyond the reach of this local channel, do a quick study of similar local channels in your area. Get some solid prices and available hours�preferably in writing. Get the Believers together, and if they are in agreement, make the necessary arrangements and contact Headquarters immediately to arrange for your routine receipt of the videotape each week.

This, if carried out, is far greater than an ordinary act of charity. You are, by your sacrifice�not possibly, but absolutely�saving some lives, in every sense of the term. Bearing this in mind, you should be trying to devise honorable and inexpensive methods to have the audience at large help to bear the cost of airing the program each week.

Some of you reading this column may not be registered Muslims, and may not even have a functioning Mosque or Study Group in your town. Experience has shown me that you can still cause the Television Ministry of The Honorable Louis Farrakhan to not only give spiritual life, but to also save physical life in some instances.

To those who have recognized Study Groups, and certainly those recognized as Mosques, I am positive that you will not suffer the humiliation of not arranging to see and hear The Leader in the area wherein you are perceived as representing him, only to look around and see that some nearby hamlet, which has only "sympathizers", is watching him every week.
