LET'S TALK TURKEY!
There is a much-used expression"The Silly
Season"which threatens to become obsolete, for the simple
reason that the populace is busy finding and/or creating so many ways
to indulge in silliness that we are rapidly approaching a time when a
"Sensible Season" will be rare. For example, we just came
out of the devil-worshiping ritual called "Halloween". As
you read this, we will be on the verge of, or will have just completed
observation of a heinous celebration called "THANKSGIVING".
Whats thatyou always thought
"Thanksgiving" was a righteous, religious holiday? Well, lets
just look at the history, as told by the creators of this great day of
feasting.
We are taught in the schools that the first
Thanksgiving was a celebration of the European founders of this nations
escape from the cruel dictatorships which existed in their homelands,
and their landing on these shores to build a nation upon the
foundation of Freedom, Justice and Equality. I dont think I need to
explore that rationale too deeply, since most of the people who will
read this column descended from the slaves who were brought here and
reduced to a subhuman existence in order to create a Paradise for
their masters. Not to mention the fact that, while most pictures of
the "First Thanksgiving" show the European newcomers sharing
a feast with the original inhabitants of this land, whom they called
"Indians", it was not too long, according to their own
history books, that these ungrateful Europeans turned upon the tribes
who had welcomed them and helped them to become established, and began
murdering themmen, women and childrenfor no cause except greed.
As a Muslim, I am quick to recognize the insult
hurled at the Religion of Islam by these wicked creatures. Study it
for yourself! They did not have luxury steamships and comfortable
airplanes to make their travel more pleasant. The only reason they
came this way is that their attempt to go East, into the rich lands of
Asia and usurp the land and riches there, was thwarted by the
inhabitants of those prosperous lands, most of whom were Muslims.
Their most notable failures and defeats came at the hands of the
fierce military experts of Turkey, who not only defeated, but
humiliated them. They had such deep-seated hatred for the Turks, that
they included it in the rituals of their newly-devised
"Thanksgiving" celebration. They discovered a fowl in their
new home, which they at first called "The American
road-runner". With the passage of time, many of them began to pay
attention to the red "comb" or "crop" on the head
of this bird, which reminded them of the red fezzes and other headgear
worn by the Turks. As they formulated their yearly observance of their
flight to America, after being barred from Asia, primarily by the
Turks, they initiated a ritual whereby they chopped off the head of
this bird they called a "Turkey", cooked him and ate his
flesh, as a symbol of their intent to one day get back at their hated
enemies in the East.
You will notice that in some of their secret
societies, they wear a red turban or a red fez, with the black tassel
on the top fastened down, indicating the extent to which their power
is dependent upon their ability to limit the freedom of the Black Man.
If you look closely at pictures of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad
wearing his fez, you will notice that his black tassel is not fastened
down, but swings freely, representing his dedication to a full and
complete freedom for the Black Man
