We were reminded by Christ to watch as well as pray. Prayer is
necessary in order to have Allahs (Gods) guidance in everything
that we do. Watching is necessary in order to avoid being involved in
that which is not the business of Allah (God). A Jew, a Christian or a
Muslim is one who serves only the will of Allah (God), and thus
engages in the activity of watching as well as praying.
If we reflect back on one of the messages of the Messianic
Messenger, it states that those who do not authentically atone could
not give rational, constitutional leadership.
This is true because atonement reunites or unites one with Allah
(God). When one is united with Allah (God) and has submitted to his
will, they are motivated by unadulterated love. This love causes them
to have legitimate ideas, thoughts, plans, structures, administration,
and work.
On the other hand, if one is not united with Allah (God) and has
not submitted to his will, they will be filled with hate, lust, or
indifference. From this state, they will devise schemes and hustles
that amount to nothing, or they will simply do nothing at all.
Just the other day, I saw a news caption suggesting that Mr. Al
Gore, the vice president of the United States, had the financial
responsibility in addressing the problem of AIDS in Africa.
If the problem of AIDS is the result of the African males
misconduct, then it is the responsibility of the African males to
address the problem.
Whenever we seek solutions to a social problem without first
removing from ourselves that which is a contributing factor, or that
which may be a contributing factor, we say the wrong thing and take
the wrong action.
We must pay close attention to the social actions and social plans
of all African and Black American males to see whether their plans are
the result of atonement or whether their plans come from hate, lust,
or indifference. Let us keep in mind that hate creates schemes, lust
creates hustles, and indifference does nothing.
After one is atoned, the mind works in the constitutional interest
of all. If one is not atoned, one seeks for themselves and their group
advantages and privileges. When one is atoned, he/she works for the
health, interest, rights, and needs of all people.
Working for the health, interest, rights, and needs of all is what
determines the constitutional nature of the thing worked for. When we
specifically work for the constitutional interest of children, at the
same time we are working for the general interest of all adults.
When we work for the specific constitutional interest of Black
Americans, at the same time we are working for the general interest of
all Americans.
So you can see that if one does not atone and love all people, they
will never work for the constitutional interest of their own people
for fear that their work will serve the general interest of those whom
they hate.
When one is not working for the constitutional interests of all,
they play the race game while conducting a scheme or hustle for
themselves.
When any African or Black American leader proposes anything, ask
the question, "If I assume total responsibility for the proposal
and carry it out to its completion, would it redeem my people, and
would it liberate them from ignorance and poverty?" That which
does not redeem and liberate does not come from atonement, and when it
does not come from atonement, it is a personal scheme and hustle.
Personal schemes and hustles may give you food, clothing, shelter,
and sex, which is what all animals seek, but it does not give to you
what man and citizen needs.
It is necessary for you to take the eight steps of atonement so you
can give leadership and so you are not misled.
