The eight steps of atonement address
the sin that caused the human race to live outside of Allahs (Gods)
consciousness for the last 6,000 years.
The fact that a man of African descent living in America, was the
one Allah (God) used to make the call, is even far beyond the
comprehension of those who responded to the call.
Many Black Americans are so vividly aware of their own oppression
and the oppression of their ancestors that they forget that the whole
human race, being separated from Allah (God), is indeed living lives
of oppression.
As we begin to respect Allahs (Gods) call to us through the
Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan of the need for us to atone, we
will begin to see that all oppression is rooted in sin. When we
recognize this fact, the illusion of race will no longer blind us from
the reality of character. We then for the first time will be able to
understand Allahs (Gods) words expressed through Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr., when he said, "Dont judge a man by the color
of his skin, but by the content of his character."
Our sins, not confessed and repented of, cause us to imagine
enemies and opposition that do not exist.
Your perception of reality is distorted by your sin. Your
interpretation of your perception is further distorted. Therefore, you
and others, with different distortions, can never come to an agreement
of what, why and how something happened or what should be done to
correct the situation.
However as each person takes the eight steps of atonement, their
view of reality becomes accurate and their interpretation becomes
precise. They therefore have the ability to see the cause of a
problem. Then they can further see alternatives, other options,
opportunities, and possibilities.
Without atonement, the problem is traced to the wrong causeusually
to a person or a group of people. The unatoned become angry, feel
inferior, and live a life full of hate while overtly and covertly
complaining.
Only the atoned can come into an open, constitutional and
democratic meeting discussing real problems and legislating,
adjudicating, executing, and administrating real solutions.
The new millennium is the spiritual river of Jordan. Only those who
take the eight steps of atonement will cross into the new millennium
of institutional sovereignty and economic independence.
Even after chattel slavery had ended, many former slaves moved back
to the plantations and made no real change in themselves or their
social conditions.
The physical millennium will begin January 1, 2000, but the
spiritual millennium began October 16, 1995.
In the future, the question will not be whether you partied out the
old millennium into the new. The question will be, "did you
attend or watch the Million Man March, and did you attend or watch the
Million Family March?"
Then the big question will come: "Have you atoned?" All
will know that atonement gives the key to the new millennium.
