Student National Assistant to Minister Louis Farrakhan, Ishmael R. Muhammad, delivered the keynote lecture, “The Time and What Must Be Done”, in front of an eager, curious and excited audience.
The evening was historic and monumental as The Final Call building was the first public meeting place in the 1980s as Min. Farrakhan worked to rebuild and reestablish the Nation of Islam until the repurchase of Mosque Maryam, and the National Center which serves as its international headquarters.
Min. Farrakhan delivered historic and timely messages for several years in The Final Call building which now serves as headquarters for his audio and video ministry and houses The Final Call newspaper.
Brother Fontaine Muhammad, General Manager of The Final Call welcomed guests and explained the importance and practicality of the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad as the way to properly deal with societal ills plaguing Black and poor communities. Student Minister Jeffrey Muhammad of Mosque Maryam also delivered introductory comments.
Located in the heart of the Auburn-Gresham community, The Final Call Administration Building sits adjacent to Salaam Restaurant and across from the Respect for Life Bookstore.
