Saviours’ Day 2019 is around the corner!

FOI hit streets of Chicago promoting Nation of Islam’s annual gathering

CHICAGO—Saviours’ Day is not only the annual commemoration of the birth of Master Fard Muhammad, the Great Madhi of the Muslims and the Messiah of the Christians who appeared in North America on July 4, 1930. It is also a great time to show love, support and kindness. Thousands of Muslims, their families, friends and supporters will be in the city Feb. 15-17 for a weekend of workshops, plenary sessions, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan’s Children’s Village and other events. The weekend will be highlighted by the Sunday, Feb. 17 keynote address by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, national representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

The Fruit of Islam (FOI) of Mosque Maryam in Chicago have been hitting the streets in rain, sunshine or freezing snow with flyers announcing Saviours’ Day and promoting the news of Ministers Farrakhan’s highly anticipated address at the United Center on Feb. 17 (see pages 10, 11 and the back page for more information). On a recent Saturday, the FOI from various mosques and study groups of the Central Region worked diligently, braving the snow and cold passing out flyers at bus stops, businesses and passersby in the streets.

From Houston to Miami and Oakland to Brooklyn, New York, the FOI also continue to push The Final Call newspaper and offer a kind word.

“Farrakhan has helpers all across the world! Today the FOI in Miami went out into the streets #truthtrafficking helping the Honorable @louisfarrakhan get all of our people and save them from a wicked world. All Praise is due to Allah!” Yasin Muhammad from Miami posted on social media.

Jesse Muhammad posted on Facebook that the work in the streets is a perfect way to bring in the New Year. “The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan called for The Revolution of Kindness and it continues as we wish God’s Peace in the new year to everyone we’re blessed to encounter.

“No better way to bring in the New Year than to be out in this beautiful weather for some spirited #TruthTrafficking. All Praise is Due to Allah! Definitely sets the tone for the year.”

With the help of the FOI and their show of determination, discipline and love, Saviours’ Day and the “revolution of kindness” will be the highlight of 2019.
