Interview with Dr. Abdul Alim Muhammad, MD

Perry announced that by executive order he would make the Merck produced Gardasil HPV (human papilloma virus) vaccine required for all girls entering the sixth grade, the years-old debate over the vaccine erupted as concerned parents, citizens and health officials voiced outrage.

Lawmakers in at least 20 states, like Kentucky State Representative Kathy Stein, have proposed legislation making the vaccine a “mandate” within their states. Merck says, “Gardasil may help guard against diseases caused by HPV Types 16 and 18, which cause 70 percent of cervical cancer cases. Gardasil may not fully protect everyone and does not prevent all types of cervical cancer.”

After a recent Key Conversations radio show interview with Patrice K. Muhammad, editor-in-chief of the Kentucky-based The Key Newsjournal, Dr. Abdul Alim Muhammad, MD, Minister of Health and Human Services of the Nation of Islam, further shared his views on the proposed legislation for the HPV vaccine to be made mandatory; the ability to “opt-out”; and the risks of vaccines in general.

Patrice Muhammad (PM): Why did you call for a moratorium on vaccinations?

The unsuspecting public does not know that they are being used as human guinea pigs in a massive experiment with an uncertain outcome.

Dr. Alim Muhammad (AM): I called for a moratorium on vaccinations in 1997 after becoming concerned that vaccines are contaminated with toxic metals like mercury and aluminum, and viruses, such as polyoma virus and other micro-organisms such as mycoplasma, etc. There also was major concern that vaccines were the cause of a host of illnesses and new diseases and had been implicated in the most devastating pandemic of our time, HIV and AIDS.

PM: Do you suggest that anyone under any circumstance be vaccinated?

AM: Medical decisions are best made by doing a risk/benefit analysis. There are some persons whose risk of contracting an illness that can be prevented by a vaccine is so great that the relative risk of the vaccine itself is considerably less on an individual basis. A trauma surgeon who is in daily contact with Hepatitis B-tainted blood may well benefit from the vaccine. But a newborn baby?—I don’t think so.

PM: What about for travel to other countries?

AM: Travel to other countries is a complex issue. Partly, it has to do with the relative risk while in-country and also the laws that are in force there. Some countries just will not admit anyone who has not had the yellow fever shot, for example.

PM: What are your thoughts on the HPV vaccine?

AM: As far as the HPV vaccine—in addition to all the above—the fact remains that this is all experimental and theoretical. Not a single woman has been saved from cervical cancer and there is no data to show that anybody ever will be saved. We will have to wait 30 years to see.

Certainly, this is the most expensive vaccine ever and this issue clearly shows the collusion between government and industry that victimizes the unwitting public and is massively profitable for Merck & Co. Are there more sinister aspects to this? Probably yes.

We find in our nutritional practice many women who have abnormal pap smears and evidence of HPV infection that we clear in a month or two with immune boosting nutrition. Will any government agency or private insurance company pay for any of this? Of course not. This question came up when a caller mentioned Norplant. What you will find is that there is money for the insertion of the Norplant device, but if later the woman decides she wants it out, there is no money for that.

PM: You made a statement on Key Conversations about the lack of funding for preventative treatment; however, there is money for vaccines. Can you give me your exact comment on that?

AM: The unsuspecting public does not know that they are being used as human guinea pigs in a massive experiment with an uncertain outcome. Never in human history have billions of people had injected into them uncountable numbers of viruses and other micro-organisms—or their genetic material—along with toxic chemicals and metals making of them “human petri dishes” that are producing new recombinant viral forms with unknown implications. In fact, what is being done is changing the human genome into some hybrid form. Vaccination is damaging the nervous systems of children and adults alike, reducing in an incalculable way the human potential of entire generations; burdening society with millions of asthmatics, diabetics, brain damaged and in other ways weakened individuals who face a life of chronic illness; and debility to feed the coffers of big pharma and big insurance and big government. Vaccines do not lessen the disease burden, but immeasurably increases it in every way, and it is being done deliberately for profit and social control as envisioned in Huxley’s “Brave New World.”

We better opt out.

PM: Thank you.
