(IPS)Antonio Barrios was before the court for a minor offense. Employed to
clean up a construction site, he had sought a shortcut by dumping some debris at a nearby
residence. He was arrested when the homeowner filed a complaint with police.

Rawlings appeals to Muslims to help Kosovo refugees
ACCRA, Ghana (PANA)Ghanaian President
Jerry Rawlings May 4 reaffirmed his opposition to NATO bombings in Yugoslavia and wondered
why wealthy Muslim nations were not assisting Kosovo refugees.
He said some nations have come with aid packages for the refuges, who are Muslims, but
nothing has been heard form Muslim states either in condemnation of the bombings or
assistance to the refugees.
An appeal to Rev. Jackson: Work to liberate
the other captives
God has blessed Rev. Jackson to have the ears of the rulers
of this land. Our brothers and sisters in the prisons of America dont have their
ears or a voice with the power structure.
