Brother Jabril: "Some misunderstand aspects of these interviews. I
love my Big Brother. I love what and how he teaches. Moreover, I want
everyone to understand you in the light of Gods truths. So I was real happy
when a Sister wrote me saying: Thank you for these interviews which are
really inner-views of the Minister. I love what she wrote. She got to the
core of what Im doing this for. "And, there are so many valuable lessons in
your life, from which we all can benefit, as it was with the Honorable Elijah
Muhammad, due to the special positions in which Allah has placed you both."
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan: "There are those who failed to
grasp the lessons that are manifested in their Brother. So, those who would
strike that [the spiritual roots] from the record would do so because the gap
in them has become so great they cannot see the value in such questions and
in such answers."
Brother Jabril: "An understanding of the words of Allah, depends a great
deal on the quality of our understanding of the bearer of that word." Then
Minister Farrakhan went into the fact that many of us follow him, as he
stated, in this May 1st interview: "out of a superficial understanding of
him, [while] the scripture says, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I
am meek and lowly of heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls. "Learning
of a man is learning the inner workings of his mind, which then gives you the
spirit out of which he does what he does and this is why God is using him. If
you want God to use you, dont be an imitation of his word, or his dress, or
his [external] manner. But get in tune with his spirit for then you will
become magnetic, as you will draw people unto you, that you may bring them to
him, that he may bring them to the Messenger, and that the Messenger may
bring them to Allah. "So to blind yourself to aspects of him that made him
chosen of God and to relegate this aspect [the spiritual] to unimportance,
does not show the unimportance of the articles that you write. It is showing
what has happened to those hearts and those minds that are blinded to the
value of profound answers to simple questions."
Brother Jabril: "Right."
Minister Farrakhan: "Every incident or circumstance or event that
comes up in my personal and national life will give the Believers and
historians a view of the heart of the man that has been so thoroughly
condemned by those who misunderstand."
Brother Jabril: "Thats right. Then, of course, its written that you
are to become even more successful despite and in some ways, because of their
opposition. And, it says that many will come to see and believe."
Minister Farrakhan: "That fuels the intensity of the effort of those
who condemned and worked against me. Now, in their having a change of heart,
by their coming to understand, by the permission of Allah, then they work
even harder for the cause for which this person suffered so much but did not
respond in kind to those who caused him pain."
Brother Jabril: "There is a general truth, written in the second
chapter of 1st Corinthians, that if the princes of this world really
understood, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. "
Minister Farrakhan: "That only bears witness that for some, who
rejected it, at first, it was not envy. It was gross misunderstanding. "I saw
in the history of Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH) that when the
emissaries from Mecca met him three miles out from Mecca, out of which came
the Hudiabiya treaty, when in the writing it said, Muhammad, Messenger of
God, they said, according to the historians, If we had believed that he was
the Messenger of God, we never would have opposed him. So, that let me know
that it definitely was a misunderstanding because they did not believe in him
as his followers believed in him. Out of their disbelief in him, they opposed
him. But it was not envy."
Brother Jabril: "In August 1961, we attended a Ministers Conference,
during which the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said: Some come to believe only
but for a short time. Youve covered many times how we can become un-stunted
and really make real progress, after our misunderstanding, which is implied
in your great assignment from God and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to you.
So this leads right back again to this, from another angle: in the light of
what he said, what is the root of Moses doubt and suspicion?"
Minister Farrakhan: "I think the words that are given to Jesus, in the
scriptures reads, All that came before me were thieves and robbers. So when
a people have had thieves and robbers in front of them posing as leaders, and
in another sense, hirelings who lead because its profitable, taking
advantage of the misery of the people, to profit from their misery and then
when you get a true leader, he suffers the weight of those who were before
him that mislead. Its like a woman having married a man, or two men, and
having suffered great hurt; injustice; evil from the man or men that she
married, by the time the third marriage comes, she is filled with doubt and
suspicion, because of her experience. I think at the root of that doubt and
suspicion of our people, is the history of thieves and robbers who came
before God raised our father to lead us. So he had to bear the pain of their
doubt and suspicion and the wickedness of the enemy, whose job it was to cast
doubt and make the people suspicious of him through their propaganda. So it
was a double whammy that he had because he had the history to overcome and
the wicked misinterpretations of his good by the wicked while he worked."
Our Brother, Minister Farrakhan suffers the same and for the same reasons.
But, as it is written, he will overcome, by the power of the backing of Allah
and the Christ. Every day the media contains news that constantly bears
witness to the truth of Minister Farrakhans teachings and work. Furthermore,
scientific studies are being released almost every day that does the same.
Relevant to the above are these verses from the Holy Quran. Consider them
with a broad mind. "And if good befalls them, they say: This is from Allah;
and if a misfortune befalls them, they say: This is from thee. Say: All is
from Allah. But what is the matter with these people that they make no effort
to understand anything? " (4:78) "What is the matter with you that you help
not one another?" (37:25) "What is the matter with you that you hope not for
greatness from Allah?" (71:13) Question: Can we enter Minister Farrakhans
spirit, which is his teachers spirit, which is the spirit of God Himself,
without an understanding of the scriptures and without that particular kind
of love of which he, Minister Farrakhan, speaks and acts? More next issue,
Allah willing.
