"And surely We created man of sounding clay,
of black mud fashioned into shape. And the jinn, We created before of
intensely hot fire. And when thy Lord said to the angels: I am going
to create a mortal of sounding clay, of black mud fashioned into
shape. So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My
spirit, fall down making obeisance to him."�Holy Qur�an,
Surah 15, verses 26-29
According to the Divine Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad,
the Original Man and people could not have been other than the Black
Man and the darker members of the Original people, who have always
lived on our Planet Earth ever since it was formed and created. The
Origin of Blackness is conceived out of the material of the darkness,
which formed and shaped us into existence. The creation of a jinn
class of beings from intensely hot fire refers to the fiery
temperament that also exists within the nature of the Original people,
which lies dormant until exhibited or exposed to view.
In the commentary to the above verse as given by Maulana Muhammad
Ali in his translation of the Holy Qur�an, we read: "The two
descriptions of the origin of man, his being made from clay that gives
sound and of mud that is fashioned into shape, refer to the two great
characteristics which give man a superiority over other animals, there
being a reference to the use of language in the clay that gives sound,
and to the perfection of his make in the mud fashioned into shape." In
his further commentary to the clay material of man�s make, he states:
"It should also be noted that elsewhere the salsal (clay) is likened
to fakhkhar (55:14), which means clay that has been baked, showing
that the earth�s surface itself has baked in fire. It was undoubtedly
originally a lump of fire."
This commentary gives further credence to the Divine Teachings of
the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in that the jinn class of beings was
lying dormant inside of the germ of life of the original people until
processed into its make. This nature of the clay baked into the
earth�s surface in fire helps to illumine the profound nature of this
essence of our Divine being. God�s completion of our make comes with
the breathing into us of His Spirit To make us whole. The perfection
of the soul in its various stages of evolution is the Divine Path of
all seekers of Truth.
The sounding clay in perfecting the word of Truth must now become
magnified into perfect harmony and Oneness with the Divine Creator,
being in perfect submission to His Will. We are in the Time of the
Establishment of His Universal Kingdom on Earth in this Messianic
Dispensation that is calling all peoples, nations and tongues to
gather in His Name as the heirs of His New World Government of Peace,
an everlasting Rule and Dominion.
Those who are unwilling to submit to this Truth will be driven away
and rejected and like Iblis, the rebel, who refuted this announcement
in these words: "He said: I am not going to
make obeisance to a mortal, whom Thou has created of sounding clay, of
black mud fashioned into shape. He said: (God speaking) Then go forth,
for surely thou art driven away, And surely on thee is a curse till
the day of Judgment." �Holy Qur�an, Surah 15, verses
33-35
